Three great archangels are mentioned in the Bible - Gabriel, Michael and Lucifer (Luke 1:19,26) (Daniel 9:21) (Daniel 10:13) (Jude 9) (Revelation 12:7). Gabriel and Michael remain loyal to God. But Lucifer and the 1/3 of the Holy Angels under his authority rebelled against God. In this process Lucifer transformed himself into Satan the Devil (God's adversary), and the 1/3 of the Holy Angels under his command became Fallen Angels and demons. God did not create a devil and fallen angels - these angelic, spiritual beings created themselves when they rebelled against God. Isaiah 14:12-15 " How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. " Ezekiel 28:12-17 " ......... (12) Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. (13) Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. (14) Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. (15) Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. (16) By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. (17) Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. " Lucifer had been sent to the earth where he had his throne, but he sinned and then wanted to rule over all the other angels. He and his angelic cohorts stormed heaven. There was war in heaven, between those angels who are true to God and between Lucifer and the rebellious angels. Lucifer (now transformed into Satan) lost the battle and was thrown down to the earth. Luke 10:18 " And He (Christ) said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. " There are two angelic wars mentioned in the Bible. The first was the time of the original rebellion of Lucifer and his attempt to storm heaven and rule over all the other angels. The second angelic war mentioned is the one in the last days, before the return of Jesus Christ. This war could have already happened, or it could still be a little ways off. The following scriptures explain this great war in heaven in the last days - the days we are living in now. Revelation 12:7-10 " (7) And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, (8) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. (9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (10) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. " Revelation 12:11-13 " And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. " Lucifer - the morning star was once very beautiful. Now he the devil apparently has an ugly body, that looks like that of a dragon (but whether this is merely symbolism, or literal is something this writer does not know). The Holy Angels that rebelled are now demented Fallen Angels. They look like men. These beings are now twisted, perverted and insane - they even want to kill themselves (but spirits cannot die) (Luke 8:26-33) (Matthew 8:28-34) (James 2:19) (Revelation 12:12) (Revelation 20:10). God the Father and God the Son have everything under control. Satan and the fallen angels can only go as far as God will allow. This is no contest between equals. God is infinitely greater than the devil and his fallen angel cohorts, and is in charge (Job 1:6-12) (Job 2:1;6). God uses Satan and the fallen Angels to test people to see if they are willing to follow God, or follow the devil. God allows Satan to tempt people (but we are never given a test or temptation that we cannot resist). The truth of the matter is that most of mankind enthusiastically follows Satan and his ways: Ephesians 2:1-3 " (1) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; (2) Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (3) Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) "
Exposing the Truth about the Deceptions of Satan and the Fallen Angels There is this huge myth that the devil is so very all powerful, and that evil is winning. The reality is that Satan and the fallen angels are already judged (John 16:11) (Matthew 8:28-12 note verse 29) (Revelation 20:1-3, 7-8, 10). Christ won the victory over sin and death and Satan on the cross about two thousand years ago (Hebrews 2:14) (1 John 3:8). Christ has already qualified to rule the earth, and in the process Satan will be stripped of his throne here on earth (Daniel 7:13-14) (Matthew 28:18) (Revelation 19:11-16). Also it is important to realize that all the universe (except for the earth at this time) is obedient to God. The earth is just a little spot in the vast universe. Satan appears so strong to us, because we are living in Satan's world, and God's Kingdom does not yet rule here on earth.
Satan transforms himself into an Angel of light, but is really the great deceiver and counterfeiter, who is out to destroy (2 Corinthians 11:14) (Ephesians 6:11-13) (1 Peter 5:8) (Revelation 12:9) (Revelation 20:2-3). Satan does not appear as evil personified, but rather appears to mankind as an Angel of Light, but underneath he is the evil Dragon out to deceive and destroy mankind spiritually. Satan has his own counterfeit religions and churches that palm themselves off as the real thing, but who are themselves deceived by the father of lies. Satan has had in the past and still has today his own ministers, false apostles and churches (2 Corinthians 11:13-15) (Revelation 2:2, 2:20-24, 3:9) (Matthew 15:12-14) (2 Peter 2:1-3) Jude 3-4 " Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. " 2 Timothy 4:3-4 " For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. " Matthew 7:15 " Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. " Satan is a Deceiver. For example he has been instrumental in building up false Christianity, through which he can more effectively deceive people (Matthew 24:3-5) (Revelation 17:1-18) For more information on this go to Mystery Babylon. Satan has his counterfeit Sabbaths as well, to try and confuse people about the correct time for the Sabbath, and thus lead them away from God's laws (the seventh day from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset is the correct time for God's weekly Sabbath).
Satan wants to reproduce himself, but he and the fallen angels are sexless beings, who cannot reproduce. There has been this myth that evil spirit beings got involved sexually with women during Noah's time. But this is all foolishness. The angels are not permitted to have families. God is the author of sex and the family. God the Father and God the Son are creating a family and having children - we can be born into that family at the resurrection. Satan is just envious and jealous of God. The fallen angels, like the Holy angels cannot reproduce or have a family (Mark 12:23-25) (Hebrews 1: 1-8 note verse 5). Satan the and the Fallen Angels were the First Homosexuals Now Satan and the Fallen angels are sexless beings (as are all the Angels whether they be those who remain loyal to God, or those who have rebelled against God). Satan cannot reproduce or have a family. However, Satan and the perverted relationships he has with the fallen angels is similar to the relationships human homosexuals have among themselves - allow me to clarify these matters. Among homosexual couples (be they either homosexual relations between men, or women) there is the one partner who is dominant, and the other submissive. It is a dominant-submissive relationship. The dominant one is often compared to the male in the relationship, and the submissive one compared to the female in the relationship. However, this is a perverted and distorted image of what constitutes the male-female heterosexual relationship, that God wants to see and originally intended. Homosexual relationships are really power relationships - domination and submission. One is dominant, and the other submits to that domination. It does not matter, if the homosexuals are two men or two woman (lesbians) - the same power relationship is in place. They then try to twist and distort this whole matter and erroneously compare the homosexual relationship to heterosexual relationships between a man and woman. Satan and the fallen Angels it appears certain are the authors of the homosexual movement, and the relationships Satan and the fallen angels have among themselves are power relationships, based not on love, but on domination and submission. It seems certain that Satan and the fallen angels were the first homosexuals, because of this perverted dominant-submissive relationship established between over 1/3 (one third) of the Angels under Lucifer's command, and between Lucifer. These Angels under the authority of Lucifer somehow began submitted to Lucifer and his domination of them, and therefore followed Lucifer into sin when Lucifer sinned, and therefore rebelled against God by following Lucifer instead of God. They committed idolatry by putting someone else ahead of God in their lives. They rebelled against God's rule and formed a perverted submissive relationship with Lucifer (who dominated them) and in the subsequent rebellion became Fallen Angels, or demons. Lucifer transformed himself into none other than Satan the Devil. These beings are now the enemies of God. And then this corrupt being Satan try's to fool mankind into thinking or believing he the devil is sexy, and even that the demons had sex with woman during the time of Noah. And the children of disobedience through whom Satan works - lap up all these lies up, and prefer lies rather than the truth.
Satan Hates the Family and has repeatedly tried to undermine it and destroy it. He hates the human family, because it is a type or example of what God is doing. God the Father and God the Son are creating a family for themselves through Jesus Christ, and Jesus repeatedly referred to Himself as the Son of God (John 14:28) (John 10:25-38 note verses 25,29,32,36,37,38) (John 1:14,18, 29-33 note verse 34) (2 John 7) (1 John 2:22). Satan absolutely hates the idea of God having a family and having children, because these children of God will be the enemies of Satan forever. Us human beings can through Jesus Christ enter into a family relationship with God. We can through Christ become the begotten children of God, and can eventually be born into the Kingdom of God at the resurrection and be the children of God forever. After repentance and baptism and the receiving of the Holy Spirit - God becomes our spiritual Father in heaven. Jesus Christ is described as the Husband of the Church, which is His wife. Newly converted Christians become engaged to Christ, and if they remain faithful to Christ in this life - they will be officially married to Christ at the wedding supper after the resurrection. Please look up in your own Bible these scriptures that show us the family relationship we can have with God (Ephesians 5:24-33 note verse 32) (1 John 3:1-2) (Hebrews 2:9-14) (Revelation 21:7) (Romans 8:14-18) (2 Corinthians 11:1-2) (Revelation 19:7-9) (Revelation 21:2,9). Satan is the enemy of God. If Satan can wreck and ruin families then he has a much better chance at destroying people spiritually. He doesn't want God to have children, because these children of God would be enemies of his. Satan has worked to undermine the family and spread misunderstandings and hostility between men and women. Satan wants to destroy women spiritually Satan hates God fearing men and fathers and has worked to conspire against fatherhood. Satan hates the God given authority of the husband and father in the family. Satan wants married women to sin, by refusing to respect their husbands authority. He has been quite successful in this diabolical plot, because there are so many people who eagerly and willing sin and prefer to follow the Devil instead of God. Satan hates sex and the family and has repeatedly worked to undermine it and pervert it. When Satan overcome Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden - after their rebellion and sin against God - the very first thing they became ashamed of was that they were naked - they became ashamed of sex (Genesis 3:1-24 note verses 7,10,11) (God gave Adam and Eve free moral agency, which the tree of the knowledge of good and evil symbolizes - but God commanded the man not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil - the penalty was death. God gave Adam and Eve a choice - they could remain obedient to God and leave it up to God to set the rules and standards, or they could rebel and take it upon themselves to make up their own standards. Most of mankind has followed Adam and Eve in this rebellion, and remain rebellious to this very day.) Little wonder that among human beings perhaps the most twisted, perverted, distorted, corrupted, misunderstood, most exploited and abused happens to be sex, and the relationships between men and woman, and the relationships between husband and wife and within the family. Why ? It is because most human beings are in rebellion against God, and also because of the profound and sinister influence and power of Satan (the god of this evil world) who has done all he can to pervert and corrupt and pollute sex and the human family. Satan has been very successful in this diabolical plot, and God has allowed this to happen, because He has given mankind free moral agency, and also because most human beings prefer to follow Satan and his ways rather than God's ways. Most are simply deceived by the Father of lies, Satan the Devil. It is a very sad and disgusting story, and has been written in human blood and untold human suffering. It did not have to be that way, but most human beings seem to grow up to prefer Satan's ways. They rebel against God their Creator (who loves them) and prefer to follow the Devil and Satan who is a liar, a murderer, sexless, a bully, a manipulated deceiving schemer, whose ways are boring, whose only future is hell, who is the greatest loser in the universe, and who would prefer to destroy all of mankind both physically and spiritually. This is shameful and disgusting, but unfortunately is the truth. John 3:19-21 " And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, lest their deeds be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light that his deeds may be made manifest that they are wrought in God. " And God has allowed all this to happen for His own purposes. God has a plan and schedule He is following here on earth, and God's annual Holy Days reveal the plan. It is part of God's plan and will at this time that Satan have his throne and Kingdom here on earth. However, Satan's Kingdom will soon cone to an end, when Jesus Christ returns to the earth in these Last Days and removes Satan and the fallen Angels from the scene and sets up the Kingdom of God here on earth.
Satan also wants to destroy all human life, but God will not allow it (as long as there are some Christians still around). In fact Christ will have to intervene in human affairs during the Great Tribulation. If he did not then Satan would destroy all human life through the great nuclear war. Matthew 24:21-22 " For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. " Revelation 12:12 " Therefore rejoice , ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhibiters of the earth and of the sea for the devil is come down upon you having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. "
Satan longs to set to a world government, but God and Christ won't allow this, except during the time when the Holy Roman Empire will rule the world for 3 1/2 years (Revelation 13 :1-8). Satan tried to set up a world government under Nazi Germany and almost succeeded. However, God intervened and allowed the United States to be the first to invent nuclear weapons. Had Hitler gotten to this technology first, Satan would have had his cherished world government. Satan also tried to set up a Communist world system. The USSR was out to bury the West and create one communist world. God strengthened the United States, which fought communist. Satan wants one world system, because it will be then easier for him to control people, stamp out almost all of true Christianity, and easier for him to destroy mankind spiritually. The devil and the fallen angels are incorrigible, and refuse to change. The fallen angels are demented twisted beings, who have immoral relations among themselves. These beings are now so mentally deranged that they want to kill themselves. The story about Christ casting out a legion of demons from this man illustrates the mentality of the demons. They begged Christ to send them into this herd of pigs that was feeding on the slopes above the lake. Christ allowed this and immediately the herd of pigs rushed violently down the slope into the lake where they did drown ( Luke 8:26-37). Satan is God's enemy and even would like to kill God - and in fact he was allowed to kill Jesus Christ (who was God in the flesh). Satan tried to have the baby Jesus murdered, by working through King Herod to exterminate the baby boys in and around Bethlehem from 2 years of age and younger. Revelation 12:3-5 " And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. " Matthew 2:16 " Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. " Satan also tried to destroy Jesus Christ spiritually during the temptation of Christ in the wilderness, but failed (Matthew 4:1-11). The fate of Satan and the fallen angels is to be imprisoned and tormented forever, and ever. These beings have existed for millions and millions of years. They cannot die, since they are spirits. Matthew 8:28-29 " And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? " Mark 5:1-15 " (1) And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. (2) And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, (3) Who had [his] dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: (4) Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any [man] tame him. (5) And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. (6) But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, (7) And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, [thou] Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.(8) For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. (9) And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. (10) And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. (11) Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. (12) And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.(13) And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. (14) And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. (15) And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. " Revelation 20:10 " And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. " Satan has spread the lie about that if human beings are not good they will suffer forever in hell fire. This is a total lie. It is the devil and the fallen angels who will be tormented forever and ever in hell. Just more deception and lies from the father of lies - our enemy that old serpent, the dragon Satan the devil. John 8:44 " ......... He (Satan) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. "
Note to the reader God is infinitely greater and more powerful than the devil and the fallen angels. We are to fear God, and keep His commandments. If we fear God we need fear nothing else. Christ died for our sins and is there to help us. His love for us cannot be measured. God the Father loves us and will never give up on us, as long as we don't give up on Him. Christ and God the Father will never leave us or forsake us, as long as we love God and work to do those things pleasing to Him, and continue to remain faithful until the end. Matthew 22:26-38 " Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. " Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 " Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. " Psalms 103:8-14 " The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. "
