The Problem With Islam It is so incredibly simple. The problem is the combination of church and state. It is the setting up of an Islamic State. It is government trying to force religion on people. It is an age old problem - not restricted to Muslims. So therefore the simple solution is to insure the government remains secular, and that it respects and tolerates the different religious views of its citizens. Just because the government is secular does in no way mean the government and the constitution of the country need abandon its religious roots. If the vast majority of the population of the country practice Islam, then naturally this will reflect itself in the culture of the country and policies of the government. However, what is to be avoided like the plague is for the government to promote a certain religion and force it upon the people. The main problem in Islamic countries like Afghanistan, Iran and Saudi Arabia is the forcing of Islam upon the people through the power of the state - it is the combination of religion and state. In Afghanistan particularly we have seen the Taliban rule, and their attempt to create a strict Islamic State. This caused immense problems. This is not to question the sincerity and motives of the Taliban, or Muslim clerics in lands like Iran, Saudi Arabia or Egypt. God alone knows their motives. I do not know the motivation, but I am willing to be generous and say that I feel most of these people probably have good motives. The point is that God has given mankind free moral agency. Even God Himself will not force mankind to follow His ways and Laws - mankind has God given free moral agency. You cannot legislate morality. God has given human beings free moral agency, so why don't human governments respect God's wishes, and just leave people alone to practice their own particular religion or lack of religion in peace ? The solution is to insure the government remains secular. People have God given free moral agency. It is up to them to choose what kind of church to join, or religion to follow. People are free in this country to not practice any religion if that suits them. They are free to be atheists, sceptics, or agnostics. They are free to believe in whatever god they want. They are free to be Buddhists, Muslims, or Catholics, to practice Judaism or whatever. Canadian governments (as of 2007) are deeply involved in the spiritual. They have in place hate laws, which is meddling in the spiritual. Instead of simply realizing that the criminal acts in and of themselves are already actions of hate - they meddle in the spiritual and declare certain isolated specific crimes to be hate motivated crimes and subject to more severe penalties. In reality they fail to realize that all crime is motivated by hatred. If someone loves you then why on earth would they steal your stuff, or assault you, or deliberately harm you or your property in any way ? The government has no business getting involved in the spiritual. There are churches in almost every neighbourhood. The Canadian governments practice a combination of church and state, when they finance religious instruction (by religious teachers) in separate religious schools. Your tax dollars are being used to pay for religious instruction in these separate schools. Canadian governments have for generations used the power of the state to force religion on the people, like with the religious boarding school system that was in practice - that was designed to re-educate and pacify the aboriginals. There has been a tremendous amount of abuse of aboriginal youth in these compulsory boarding schools, that Canadian governments sanctioned, financed and supported in other ways. Some aboriginals youths were sexually abused in these state sanctioned compulsory religious boarding schools by the clergy, like with Mount Cashel orphanage in Newfoundland. Additionally the Canadian government has full diplomatic relations with Vatican City. This is definitely a situation where the government is forming government to government relations with a church, or religion. Vatican City is a city state, and the seat of the Roman Catholic Church.
What The Koran Teaches Regarding Jesus Christ First of all let us deal with what the Koran teaches regarding Jesus Christ. Much of it contradicts the clear teachings in the Bible. Mohammed and the Koran deny the central theme of the Bible, which is Jesus Christ dying for our sins. Therefore the Bible labels Muhammad as one of the Antichrists, because He clearly teaches (in the Koran) that Jesus was not God in the flesh. The Koran also denies the death of Christ on the cross and so also denies the clear biblical teachings on the verified fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 John 4:1-3 " Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. " 1 John 2:22-23 " Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. " My Bible labels Muhammad (who dictated the Koran) as a liar and a false prophet, and one of the Antichrists, since Muhammad denies the divinity of Jesus Christ, and Muhammad denies that God was the Father of Jesus Christ. If Muslims don't like this - well then they should have to talk to Jesus Christ about it, since the Bible is His book, and He inspired the writing of it. So please discuss this matter with Jesus - not me - I never wrote the Bible. My duty is to just faithfully teach what the Bible teaches.
The Koran denies that God is the Father of Jesus Christ . The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ is the begotten son of God. Christ repeatedly referred to God as His Father; Luke 2:49, Surah 5. The Table, The Table Spread 17. In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary. Say: "Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every - one that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things." 72. They do blaspheme who say: "(Allah) is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. 73. They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them. 75. Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!
The Koran denies the family relationship God has with Christ and the church - John 1:12-14, John 20:17, John 17:20-26, Luke 20:34-36, Hebrews 12:1-11 note verses 7,8 and 9, Revelation 21:7 and 9, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 note verse 18. Koran - Surah 19. Mary 34. Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute. 35. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is. Koran - Surah 19:88-92 89. Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 90. At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 91. That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 92. For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.
100. Yet they make the Jinns equals with Allah, though Allah did create the Jinns; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters. Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him! 101. To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can He have a son when He hath no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things. 102. That is Allah, your Lord! there is no god but He, the Creator of all things: then worship ye Him: and He hath power to dispose of all affairs.
The Koran teaches that Christ was just an Apostle and not the Son of God. Yet Jesus Himself said very often in the scriptures that He was the Son of God - John 5:17-26, John 10:25-38, John 3:16-18. Surah 5. The Table, The Table Spread Surah 5:17. In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary. Say: "Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every - one that is on the earth? That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things. Surah 5:72-75 72. For Allah is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful. 75. Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!
The Koran denies the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ (verse 157) - yet the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is very clearly documented in the Matthew chapters 26-28, and Mark chapters 14 to 16, and Luke chapters 22 to 24, and John chapters 13 to 20 - and there were many eye witnesses to Christ's crucifixion and death including the Mother of Jesus - Mary (John 19:25-37). Koran - Surah 4:155-158 155. (They have incurred divine displeasure): In that they broke their covenant; that they rejected the signs of Allah. that they slew the Messengers in defiance of right; that they said, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word; We need no more)";- Nay, Allah hath set the seal on their hearts for their blasphemy, and little is it they believe;- 156. That they rejected Faith; that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge; 157. That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:- 158. Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;- Here are the same verses from the Koran, but this time from the English translation of Edward W. Lane - Stanley Lane-Poole and A.H. G. Sarwar. From the Koran Surah 4: 155-158 " We have cursed the Jews from their disbelief in Jesus and their uttering against Mary a great calumny and their saying, We have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the apostle of God, - Yet they killed him not nor crucified him; but the person whom they crucified was made to appear to them like Jesus; and verily those who disagreed respecting him were in doubt concerning him, or his slaughter; for some of them said, when they saw the slain person, The face is the face of Jesus; but the body is not his body: - and others said, It is he: - they had not knowledge of him; but only allowed an opinion. And they did not really kill him; but God took him up unto Himself; and God is mighty and wise. And there is not of the people of the scripture one but he shall assuredly believe in Jesus before his own death, or before the resurrection; and on the day of resurrection Jesus shall be a witness against them. " Muhammad specifically denies in the Koran that Jesus was crucified, and so therefore Islam denies the central theme of genuine Christianity and the central theme of the Bible, which is Christ paying the penalty for our sins ( Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." ) by dying on the cross for the sins of mankind. For the penalty for sin is death and Christ paid that penalty by dying on the stake right on Passover. And I will remind Muslims that Christ had to also die for those who sin by lying - and Muhammad and all Muslims are liars when they deny the death of Christ on the cross. The scriptures (the Bible) point to Christ. The sacrificial laws given to Israel point to and are prophetic of Jesus Christ, and His crucifixion. The Law in the Bible points to Jesus Christ. God's annual Holydays point to and are prophetic of Jesus Christ and His role. John 5:39-43 " Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. " I would like to quote you some passages from the Bible - this was after Christ's death and resurrection. He appeared to two of the disciples as they were walking on the road to Emmaus, but He hide His identity from them. He talked with them and asked them some questions concerning why they were sad, and they explained how Christ had been crucified, and some of the women in their group had gone to Christ's sepulchre, and had claimed to see a vision of angels, who told then Jesus was alive. Jesus then gave them this reply: Luke 24: 24-27 " And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. " Genesis 3:15, 22:18, 26:24, 49:10; Numbers 21:9, Deuteronomy 18:15, Psalms 16:9-10, Psalms 22nd Chapter, Psalms 132:11, Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, 40:10-11, 50:6, Jeremiah 23:5 and 33:14-15, Ezekiel 34:23 and 37:25, Daniel 9:24, Micah 7:10, Malachi 3:1 and 4:2 You can read these various scriptures from the Bible which point to and are prophetic of Jesus Christ - His coming as a human being, His place of birth, His divinity and so on. These various prophecies concerning Christ were written hundreds and hundreds of years before the coming of Christ, and for some of them like those in Genesis - they were written well over one thousand years before the birth of Jesus. The Bible is the inspired word of God. There is a story thread to it. The Bible is full of various prophecies and promises of God. It makes sense and is rational.
The Koran denies the divinity of Jesus Christ. Surah 3. The Family Of 'Imran, The House Of 'Imran 59. The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was.
The Koran promotes violence against Christians and Jews alike. Surah 9. Repentance, Dispensation 29. Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 30. The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! 31. They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah. there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him). Surah 2. The Cow 135. They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah." 136. Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)."
The Koran does not respect people's God given free moral agency, but would instead force their religion on others. Surah 16. The Bee 106. Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty.
The Koran Supports Lying in Certain Circumstances Muslims may be familiar with the principles of Islam that will justify lying in situations where they sense the need to do so. Among these are: War is deception. The necessities justify the forbidden. If faced by two evils, choose the lesser of the two. These principles are derived from passages found in the Quran and the Hadith. In the Koran Surah 5:89 The Table, The Table Spread 5:89. " Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful. " Surah 2. The Cow 224. And make not Allah's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth all things. 225. Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing. Surah 16: 106 "Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief, except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty."
One of Mohammed's daughters, Umm Kalthoum, testified that she had never heard the Apostle of Allah condone lying, except in these three situations:
One passage from the Hadith quotes Mohammed as saying: "The sons of Adam are accountable for all lies except those uttered to help bring reconciliation between Muslims." Another says, "Aba Kahl, reconcile among people. "(Meaning: even through lying.) The following quote demonstrates the broadness of situations in which the prophet permitted lying. "The sons of Adam are accountable for all lies with these exceptions: During war because war is deception, to reconcile among two quarrelling men, and for a man to appease his wife."
Surah 3: 28 "Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution (prevention), that ye may Guard yourselves from them (prevent them from harming you.) But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah."
The Koran teaches that it is acceptable to coerce and threaten believers from leaving Islam. Therefore it condones violence.
The Koran promotes violence against those who try to leave Islam.
There are also Hadiths that clearly says in Volume 6, Book 61, Number 577:
Surah 3:28. Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah. except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah. Surah 4:84, Then fight in Allah’s cause - Thou art held responsible
only for thyself - and rouse the believers. It may be that Allah will restrain
the fury of the Unbelievers; for Allah is the strongest in might and in
punishment. Surah 5:55-59 55. Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bow down humbly (in worship). 56. As to those who turn (for friendship) to Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- it is the fellowship of Allah that must certainly triumph. 57. O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed). 58. When ye proclaim your call to prayer they take it (but) as mockery and sport; that is because they are a people without understanding. 59. Say: "O people of the Book (Jews and Christians) ! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah, and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us), and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?"
The Koran teaches and promotes barbaric actions by Muslims against their unbelieving enemies in warfare. Surah 5:33, The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter.
Surah 8:60, Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of
your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the
enemies of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but
whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be
repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly. Surah 8:65, O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers Surah 9:5, But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay
the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in
wait for them in every stratagem. Surah 9:23, O ye who believe! take not for protectors your fathers and
your brothers if they love infidelity above Faith: if any of you do so, they do
wrong.
The Koran teaches that all those who are not of Islam are unclean. On the other hand the Bible in the New Testament does not promote discrimination ( Acts 10:28, 34-35). Surah 9:28, O ye who believe! Truly the Mushrikun (polythiests,
pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and in the message of Muhammad)
are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred
Mosque. Surah 9:29, Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya* with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. Surah 5:51. O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your
friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And
he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah
guideth not a people unjust. The Koran supports Jihad - Holy War. Surah 9:39, Unless you march not forth, He will punish you with
a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in
the least. Surah 9:73, O Prophet Muhammad - Strive hard against the
unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell, -
an evil refuge indeed. Surah 9:111, Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and
their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in
His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through
the Law, the Gospel and the Quran........ Surah 9:123, O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird
you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those
who fear Him. Surah 22:9, (Disdainfully) bending his side, in order to lead (men)
astray from the Path of Allah: for him there is disgrace in this life, and on
the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire). Surah 22:19-22; These two antagonists dispute with each other
about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord), - for them will be cut out a
garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water. With it will
be scalded what is within their bodies, as well as (their) skins. In addition
there will be maces of iron (to punish) them. Every time they wish to get away
therefrom, from anguish, they will be forced back therein, and (it will be
said), “Taste ye the Penalty of Burning. Surah 25:52, So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against
them ( by preaching) herewith with a great endeavor.
The Koran supports Jihad - Holy War - especially against the Unbelievers. Surah 47:4, Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight -
Jihad in Allah's cause), smite at their necks till you have killed and wounded
many of them; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond
firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom:
Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus ( you are ordered by Allah to continue
in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam and are
saved from the punishment in hell-fire or at least come under your protection)
....... Surah , And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger
( Muhammad) , We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire! Surah 48:29, Mohammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who
are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each
other....... Surah 69:30-37 (The stern command will say): “Seize ye him, and bind ye him, And burn ye him in the Blazing Fire. Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits! This was he that would not believe in Allah Most High. And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent! So no friend hath he here this Day. Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds, Which none do eat but those in sin.”
The Koran Supports the Principle that the Martyrs of Jihad Will Be Rewarded There is the tradition that martyrs from jihad go immediately to Paradise, and are rewarded with 72 virgins. The following verses in the Koran provide the foundation, but the number of virgins is not specified: Koran - Surah 4:74 " Let those (believers) Who sell the life of this world for the hereafter fight in the cause of Allah and whoso fights in the cause of Allah, - and is slain or gets victory, We shall bestow on him a great reward. " Koran - Surah 44:51-54 " Verily the Muttaqun (the pious) will be in a position of Security (paradise), among Gardens and Springs; dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other; So (it will be) and We shall marry them to Hur (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes. " Koran - Surah 52:17-20 " Verily the Muttaqun (the pious) will be in Gardens (Paradise) and Delight. Enjoying in that which their Lord hath bestowed on them, and (the fact that) their Lord saved them from the torment of the blazing Fire. Eat and drink with happiness, because of what you used to do. They will recline (with ease) on Thrones arranged in ranks; and We shall marry them to Hur (female - fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. " Koran - Surah 55:54-59 " Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade: and the Fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny? Wherein both will be Qasirdt-ut-Tarf (chaste females (wives) restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinni before has had tamth (touched) before them. " Koran - Surah 55:70-74 " Therein (Gardens) will be Khairatun-Hisan (fair wives, good and beautiful); Then which of the blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny ? Hur (beautiful, fair females) guarded in pavilions; Then which of the blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny ? With whom no man or jinni has had tamth before them. " Koran - Surah 56:34-38 " And on couches or Thrones raised high. Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. And made them virgins. Loving (their husbands only), and of equal age, - For those on the Right Hand. " Koran - Surah 78:31-34 " Verily for the Muttaqun (the
Righteous or pious) there will be a success (Paradise); Gardens and
vineyards; And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age ; And a cup
full (of wine). " So according to the Koran we see that sex is a reward for the faithful in Paradise. The Koran teaches that these "companions" are the beautiful young maidens of renown. According to Muhammad they will be virgins, " whom no man or Jinn before them has touched." They get the number of 72 virgins through the hadiths. In the Sunan At-Tirmidhi, we find the following: The Prophet Muhammad was heard saying: "The smallest reward for the people of Paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine, and ruby, as wide as the distance from Al-Jabiyyah (a Damascus suburb) to Sana'a (Yemen)" (Sunan At-Tirmidhi, 4:21:2687) The tradition of the 72 virgins has been used effectively as an incentive to martyrdom. The concept of martyrs of Islam being rewarded with 72 virgins in Paradise is so ridiculous as to be beyond belief. Do Muslims really believe these lies ?
Here is another Hadith regarding martyrdom in Jihad: The Prophet (Muhammad) said, "Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the Hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in Allah's Cause)." (Sahih Bukhari, 4:52:53) The Prophet (Muhammad) said, "By Him in Whose Hands my life is! Were it not for some men amongst the believers who dislike to be left behind me and whom I cannot provide with means of conveyance, I would certainly never remain behind any Sariya' (army-unit) setting out in Allah's Cause. By Him in Whose Hands my life is! I would love to be martyred in Allah's Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred. (Sahih Bukhari, 4:52:54) The Prophet (Muhammad) said, "Nobody who enters Paradise likes to go back to the world even if he got everything on the earth, except a Mujahid who wishes to return to the world so that he may be martyred ten times because of the dignity he receives (from Allah)." Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba: Our Prophet told us about the message of our Lord that "Whoever amongst us is killed will go to Paradise." Umar asked the Prophet, "Is it not true that our men who are killed will go to Paradise and theirs (those of the Pagans) will go to the (Hell) fire?" The Prophet said, "Yes." (Sahih Bukhari, 4:52:72 [see also Sahih Muslim, 20:4635)
According to Islam it is praiseworthy both to seek death as a martyr and to love it: Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: If anyone fights in Allah's path as long as the time between two milkings of a she-camel, Paradise will be assured for him. If anyone sincerely asks Allah for being killed and then dies or is killed, there will be a reward of a martyr for him. (Sunan Abu Dawud, 14:2535) Islam and the Koran encourages death, and supports the mentally deranged who would rather die than live, because they have been brainwashed to believe lies , and as they say " I love that I should be killed in the way of Allah. " Folks - people who go around wanting to die for an illusion of paradise are mental. Genuine Christianity on the other hand is life affirming and based on faith. It is a tremendously positive life affirming faith. The greatest command from the Bible is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind. And the second greatest command from the Bible is to love your neighbour as you love yourself. There are few things more positive and powerful as love. Our God is a God of love. God is love. Jesus loves us, and we are worthy of self love. My suggestion is for Muslims to turn to Jesus. The real Jesus, who is the only Way to salvation - not the phoney false Jesus portrayed by false Christianity. My suggestion to Muslims is for them to look at the real, true Church of God , and for you to study the fundamental Doctrines of God's true Church. Muhammad probably never met a real Christian, but only the professing brand of Christians. There is a big difference. Muhammad made some errors concerning genuine Christian doctrine, like that of the trinity, which is an unbiblical doctrine. I have debunked the false doctrine of the trinity. Additionally Muhammad lived around 600 AD or so, and this was around 300 years after false Christianity became the official religion of the Roman Empire. God's true church was founded on the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was sent down from heaven and entered the believers. What happened later on is that some parts of the true church broke away from and left the true body of Christ. They began to get involved in politics. This gave birth to the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Emperor Constantine 1 (274-337 AD) convoked The Council of Nicaea in 325 AD where the Roman Catholic Church became the official religion of the Roman Empire. Constantine had converted over from Sun Worship, and had become a Roman Catholic in 312 AD. The Roman Catholic Church is none other than Mystery Babylon the Great. I have done an article on Mystery Babylon the Great and this shows you clearly how all evidence of the identity of Mystery Babylon points to the Roman Catholic Church. Muhammad it seems almost certainly did not have a very good grasp about genuine Christianity, and the fact that there is this great false church described in the Bible as Mystery Babylon the Great. As I said - he probably never met a real Christian but this is mere speculation.
Who Exactly is this Allah ? First of all I am compelled to give you a little background information regarding Islam and its teachings. However, it is impossible to go into great detail, so I have to just cover the basics. It is not within the scope of this article to give you a long and comprehensive detailed list of the various doctrines and teachings of the religion of Islam. If you want a list of the teachings and doctrines of Islam then just go to one of the search engines on the internet, like Google or MSN for example, and then type in Doctrines of Islam. There are numerous excellent and well researched sites on the subject. The Five Pillars of Islam are:
Islam recognizes many sacred scriptures given by the so-called Allah throughout history. However, Muslims claim that only the Koran is trustworthy and that the other scriptures have been compromised or corrupted, because the original manuscripts are missing. They claim that the accounts of the Bible were written down hundreds of years later and cannot be considered error free, and were written in ancient languages which have been lost. Therefore, according to Islam exact translations are not possible. Scripture: Muslims believe in four God-inspired books:
The sunna, the practice and example of the Prophet, is the second authority for Muslims. A hadith is a supposedly reliably transmitted report of what the Prophet said, did, or approved. Belief in the sunna is part of the Islamic faith. Muslims today claim that Islam can bridge the gap between Jews
and Christians. Islam attempts to do this by presenting both Christianity and
Judiasm as a brief and obsolete transitional phase with which Allah is now
through and done with. They insist that Allah has moved on and Islam is now in
the final phase of his work for mankind, the fulfillment of his word as revealed
in the Koran, and the final command of his will to mankind. It is thus that
Muhammad proclaims that Islam has replaced both Judaism and Christianity. Muslims believe in One, Unique, Incomparable God; in the Angels created by Him; in the prophets through whom His revelations were brought to mankind; in the Day of Judgement and individual accountability for actions; in God's complete authority over human destiny and in life after death. Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus. But God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was according to Islam revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through Gabriel. Muslims are supposed to or supposedly respect and revere Jesus, and await his Second Coming. They consider him one of the greatest of God's messengers to mankind. Muslims apparently are not supposed to refer to him simply as 'Jesus', but to add the phrase 'upon him be peace'. The Koran confirms his virgin birth, and Mary is considered the purest woman in all creation. According to Islam neither Muhammad nor Jesus came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in One God, brought by earlier prophets, but to confirm and renew it. In the Koran Jesus is supposedly reported as saying that he came: To attest the law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden you; I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear God and obey Me. It is strange however - because there is no record of Christ having said this in the Bible. However, Muslims would probably say that these words were conveyed to Muhammad by the angel, and so these words from the Koran override what Jesus might have said that was written in the Bible.
So Let Us Study These Matters A Little Muslims claim that their Allah is the same God who appeared to Abraham and Moses. That their Allah is the same supreme being who revealed Himself to the children of Israel, and same God who led the children of Israel out of their slavery in Egypt and the same Supreme Being who gave the Ten Commandments to Israel at Mt. Sinai. Koran - Surah 2:136 " Say: We believe in God and the revelation given to us, to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, to the tribes, to Moses, Jesus and to all prophets from their Lord. We make no difference between them, and we bow to Allah as a Muslim. " They believe Allah is the same God revealed to the prophets in the Bible, but the prophets listed in the Koran, do not include all the prophets in the Bible. Here is a list (I'm not sure if this is totally complete) of prophets from the Bible, that are mentioned in the Koran; Adam, Noah, Methuselah, Abraham, Lot, Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, David, Solomon, Ezra, Jonah, John the Baptist, Zachariah - the father of John the Baptist, and Jesus. There are some prophets listed who are not from the Bible namely Shuaib, Heber, and Idris. Muslims naturally claim that Muhammad is the last and greatest of the prophets - the seal of the prophets. They claim however, that the Koran overrides and supersedes the Bible. Therefore Muhammad, Muslims and Islam teach and claim that what the Koran does essentially is abolish the authority of the Bible. Instead according to Islam - the Koran and Muhammad supersede and overrule the teachings of the Bible from the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) ( the Psalms) (and the Gospel of Jesus), which Islam claims to be God-inspired writings. It is interesting that they claim that the Gospel of Jesus (obviously from the New Testament) is one of their four God-inspired books. However, they are not prepared to accept all of the Gospel, but they only use it selectively to promote ideas that fit in with the Koran. They claim there are contradictions in the Bible and in the Gospel of Jesus, because much of what is written there contradicts the teachings of Muhammad in the Koran. They claim the Koran trumps the Bible - so they conveniently deny those scriptures in the Bible that contradict the Koran, or they will claim they are corrupted. Then they will admonish people to just accept and believe the Koran with an unquestioning attitude. They assume (without proof) that the Koran is the final word of God. So what we have basically is blind faith, and an unwillingness to use logic, and ones own reasoning powers. It is extremely dangerous to just blindly follow a church, religion or so-called prophet blindly - without proving what is said is true. It is extremely dangerous to abdicate your own personal reasoning powers to a religious leader like Muhammad or to a religious or church hierarchy, and then allow them or the religion to control your thinking processes. God gave us minds to think with - so why do so many Muslims and others fail to use their minds ? If you can't understand it, and you can't prove it, and if it doesn't make sense then why believe it ? Could Muslims please explain clearly to me what these contradictions are within the scriptures themselves ? Where are they ? Yes the gospels do indeed contradict a lot of the teachings of many so-called Christian churches. There are many different interpretations of the Bible, and many different denominations of professing Christianity, just like there are many different denominations and interpretations of the Koran among Muslims, and Muslim Clerics. Muslims should also realize that much of so-called Christianity is not the genuine thing. There is a tremendous amount of false Christianity and false doctrines. It is interesting also to note that Muslims are confused and unclear as to what part of the New Testament Gospel of Jesus they regard as God-inspired. Is it the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, or just part of these ? Is it the entire New Testament ? Is it just the specific words of Jesus in the New Testament ? Muslims do not know, and cannot explain to you what part of the gospel of Jesus they accept as God-inspired, and which they consider not God-inspired. Seems to me that most of these Muslims and Muslim Clerics are only prepared to see what they want to see. If what the gospels say contradicts the teachings of the Koran then it is according to them either corrupted, or not God-inspired. Or they will dismiss the whole thing by saying that the Koran has replaced the Bible - yet they have no proof of this. All they have is a lot of words by Muhammad, which they cannot verify as being from God. Where is the proof and verification ? Where are the fulfilled prophecies ? Where is the proof that the angel Gabriel spoke to Muhammad ? They just expect followers of Islam to blindly follow the Koran, and just believe it, when there is no evidence it is true. On the other hand the Bible can be proved to be the word of God, because of the accuracy of the prophecies within it. Show me a single prophecy in the bible that has failed. Stop trying to deliberately twist and misinterpret the Bible.
Is Allah the Same God Mentioned in the Bible ? Since Islam claims only the Torah (the first five books of the Bible - Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) The Psalms of David, the Gospel of Jesus and naturally the Koran are God inspired - then I shall only look into these parts of the Bible to refute some false doctrines of Islam. Psalms 102:25-27 " Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. " The Bible teaches that God does not change. The earth changes, but God never changes. He stays the same.
Exodus 3:13-15 " And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. " One name God went by was the name I AM, or I AM THAT I AM. And God told Moses more about this name specifically that " this is my name forever. " Yet we read nothing in the Koran, about this name for God. Why ? Is it because Allah is just another of many false gods ? John 8:58 " Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. " Whoops - this must be another scripture Muslims believe is corrupted, since Christ calls God His Father, and Christ claimed to exist during the time of Abraham, and Christ claimed that before Abraham was - I AM. Jesus claimed to be the God who spoke to Moses who went by the name of I AM. If Christ was created out of dust by God as the Koran teaches - then why did Christ claim to have existed during the time of Abraham ? Abraham lived about 2,000 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. Are not these words part of the gospel of Jesus, which Muslims say is God-inspired ? Exodus 6:2-3 " And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. " The English translation Jehovah is inaccurate. The old Testament books were originally written in Hebrew, and in Hebrew writings the vowels are left out. So all we have for the name of God is the letters YHWH or YHVH. The tetragrammaton is the usual reference to the Hebrew name for God, which is spelled in the Hebrew alphabet YHWH or perhaps most likely YHVH, since there is no w sound in Hebrew. Of all the names of God, the one which occurs most frequently in the Hebrew Bible is YHWH or YHVH the Tetragrammaton, appearing 6,823 times, according to the Jewish Encyclopaedia. Notice that this absolutely cannot be referring to the name Allah for God. The correct pronunciation is unknown, but we are looking at perhaps the name Yahveh or Yahweh.
Deuteronomy 4:1-3-2 " Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. " Now the Muslims claim that the God of the Old Testament who spoke to Moses was none other than Allah. If this is so then why has Allah forsaken so many of his own laws, commandments, statutes and judgments as shown to us in the first five books of the Old Testament ? How come He did this when he commanded the people to not add to or take anything away from His statutes, laws and judgments as explained in the Bible ? Is God a confused God, who says in the book of Deuteronomy that Israel should hearken unto God's statutes, judgments and commands, but then who in the Koran eliminates so many of these very same laws ? Why has Islam forsaken the Feasts of the Lord, which are explained to us in Leviticus 23rd Chapter, if Muslims are really following God, and if Allah is the God who gave these laws ? These are the Sabbaths of the Lord, yet Islam keeps different Holidays. These are God's feasts - they don't belong to any race or religion - so why doesn't Muhammad, the Koran and Islam recognize and keep these Feasts of the Lord - if Allah is indeed the God of the Bible ? Why have they made the Muslim Sabbath to be on Friday, when God's Sabbath is on the seventh day of the week on Saturday from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset ? I had just quoted you the scriptures Psalms 102:25-27 where it clearly says God never changes. So why would God change His spiritual laws, and change His Sabbaths ? I John 14: 21-24 " He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. " You prove your love for God by doing what He commands you to do. Deuteronomy 13:1-5 " If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee. "
If Islam and Muslims say the gospel of Jesus is God-inspired then why do they reject that gospel by rejecting Jesus as the Son of God who died for our sins ? Galatians 1:8-9 " But though we, or an angel from heaven (and may I be so bold to interject and add even Gabriel the Arch Angel, who was supposed to have appeared to Muhammad), preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. " And what is that Gospel ? It is the Good news of the Kingdom of God, and also the good news that Christ died for our sins on the cross, and through His shed blood we can have forgiveness of our sins, and we who believe in Him and His words can receive eternal salvation. The good news that Christ rose from the dead and has won the victory over sin and death. These are all teachings that the Koran and Muhammad rejects. Islam wants to spread the lie that the Koran has replaced the Bible, and they want to preach another Gospel. They deceitfully fawn over Jesus and say He is a prophet, and they use the name of Jesus to promote their own religion, while all the while rejecting so many of Christ's teachings and doctrines, like the plain teachings of Jesus that He died on the cross, and was resurrected, and that Jesus is the begotten son of God, and was God in the flesh. They are worshipping God in vain. Mark 7: 5-7 " Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. " The Lord Jesus Christ teaches that a person can worship Him in vain. These hypocrites add all kinds of traditions and regulations to their so-called worship of God that cannot be found in God's word the Bible. Islam and many Muslims honour Christ with their lips, but hypocritically dishonour Him and His teachings by their actions, and their disbelief. There is no salvation offered to Muslims while they are in their present state of disbelief and rebellion against God and His only begotten son Jesus Christ. They are deceived, but this is all according to God's plan. Their time for salvation has not yet come, and so they are blinded to the truth, and blinded and deceived by idolatry. They are not yet lost, but not yet saved, but I am worried that some of them may have committed an unpardonable sin by claiming that Muhammad is the prophesied Comforter or Holy Spirit. John 3:16-18 " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. "
The gospel of Jesus plainly and clearly teaches that Jesus Christ is part of the Godhead - that there are two members of the Godhead - not just one. God the Father and God the Son are united in will and mind, and both are Gods, but God the Father is greater than God the Son.
John 1:1-5 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. " John 1:9-14 " That was the true
Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the
world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He
came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received
him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe
on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the
Father, full of grace and truth. " John 1: 15-18 " John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. "
Many Muslims Have a Zeal For God, But it is Misguided In that sense it is good, because although deceived by so many false teachings of religion, Mystery Babylon and of Islam, at least a lot of them are alive and awake spiritually, and not spiritually apathetic like many in the professing Christian world. There is hope for such people. Just like Saul who hounded and persecuted the true church of God, believing they were completely wrong, and believing Christ was a false God. Yet God opened Saul's mind to the truth, and he became one of the most effective teachers of Christ. His was simply a misguided zeal, but when God opened his mind that zeal was channelled into doing God's work very powerfully. So in that sense I feel there is a real hope for those within Islam, like the Taliban, and even people like Osama bin Laden. These people really believe in something. So when the time comes for God to open their minds to understand the real Jesus - they have good potential to become very good and effective Christians. And in some ways Islam isn't that far away from some of the true teachings of Jesus Christ - and actually a number of the teachings of Islam have a biblical base to them. There are some prophecies in the Bible regarding the Last Days and how parts of Egypt will turn to the Lord. It is Illegal To Preach About Jesus In Public In Most Islamic Countries - Why ? Now in Canada we are supposed to have religious freedom - on paper at least. It is guaranteed to us in the Canadian Constitution - on paper. Guarantee of Rights and Freedoms and Fundamental Freedoms (from the Canadian Constitution) " The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society. Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms: (a) freedom of conscience and religion; (b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication; (c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and (d) freedom of association. " Now the reality is a little different from what is on paper. Genuine Christians (and let me emphasize the word GENUINE) are routinely discriminated against, persecuted, ridiculed for their beliefs, mocked and basically treated like junk. Believe me - this here writer is the real thing - a genuine Christian, and I have the persecutions here in Canada to prove it. Nobody will dog your trail and give you any trouble here in Canada if you practice the mushy, feel good, anything goes, just believe in Jesus and you are saved - brand of professing Christianity. That kind of Christianity offends no one, because basically them kind of professing Christians don't really stand for anything much at all. However, with the real Christian we have an entirely different story. A real spirit led Christian is different from the world. They strive to follow God's ways, and therefore a God hating world naturally hates those who follow God's ways. They are also honest, and honesty is one of the things this corrupt world hates more than almost anything else. Why ? Because the truth exposes the lies and myths, and the truth exposes the liars. John 15:18 " If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me (Jesus Christ) before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. " John 3:19-21 " And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. " 2 Timothy 3:12 " Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. " Now it is very, very interesting. On paper at least we have religious freedom in Canada. Muslims are free to preach about Muhammad and try to convert people over to be Muslims. Muslims are free to preach about Islam publicly in Canada. One of the bus drivers here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada - a driver for Calgary Transit was trying to convert one of my daughters over to be a Muslim. He gave her some literature and even a free Koran. Muslims freely and publicly preach and teach their religion here in Canada. And no one dogs their trail, and no one says they don't have the right to do so. However, in many Islamic and Muslim countries is illegal to preach about Jesus, and illegal to try and convert people over to be Christians. So why is it that I hear nothing from Muslims and Muslim clerics here in Canada about the need for religious freedom in Islamic and Muslim countries ? Maybe there are indeed some Muslims here in Canada that do believe these Muslim countries should be more open and tolerant of other religions - maybe there are some around, but I have not heard from them, or about them. Maybe some of you Muslims who read this can contact me and set me straight, if you feel I am wrong. Why is it illegal to preach conversion to Christianity in much of the Muslim world - but perfectly fine and legal to preach conversion to Islam in the professing Christian world - in nations like Canada and the United States, Britain, France and Australia ? Is it not hypocritical for Muslims in countries like Canada to condone Islamic laws that forbid Christians from preaching about Jesus publicly in Muslim lands - while all the time they are merrily preaching conversion of Christians to Islam in places like Canada ? So what are these people doing to promote freedom of religion in Muslim and Islamic lands ? What are they doing to promote overseas the very freedoms they so much enjoy here in Canada ? Exactly what are they doing here ? Or are they just a bunch of hypocrites, who would at the first opportunity force Sharia Law upon us here in Canada ?
This One Takes The Cake I was reading the introduction to the translation of the Koran the Muslim bus driver gave my daughter. They claim that the Comforter that Jesus spoke of is Muhammad. This is so absolutely ridiculous as to be beyond belief. Here is the exact words from this translation of the Koran and I quote: " Biblical Prophecy On The Advent of Muhammad " John 14:15-16 If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; " Muslim theologians have said that " another Comforter " is Muhammad, the messenger of Allah; and him to " abide forever " means the perpetuity of his laws and way of life (Shariah) and the book (Koran) which was revealed to him. " Now it is very interesting, because the so-called theologians who quoted John 14:15-16 never put in the very next verse, which is John 14:17. Why ? Because John 14:17 contradicts what they are trying to fool you into believing in John 14:15-16. Let me quote John 14:17 " Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. " What ? Do some Muslim theologians claim Muhammad is the spirit of truth ? Do Muslim clerics claim Muhammad was alive during the time of Christ ? Christ specifically said that the Comforter - the spirit of truth dwelt with Christ's disciples, and would be in them. Muhammad wasn't even born yet. Muhammad lived about 600 years after Christ. So how in the hell could Muhammad be dwelling with Christ's disciples, and then live in them - when Muhammad did not even exist yet during the time of Christ ? The Comforter that Christ spoke of was the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was working with Christ's disciples to open their mind to the truth. It was with them, and would be in them. The Holy Spirit entered the 120 believers assembled on the Day of Pentecost. This was a little over forty days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Acts 1:4-8 " And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith He, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. " Acts 2:1-4 " And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. " So let me get this straight - some Muslim theologians claim Muhammad is the promised Comforter - the Holy Spirit. Funny you know. How in the world could Muhammad be the Comforter when Muhammad wasn't born yet ? Muhammad Ibne Abdullah was born around 570 in Mecca. Muhammad was born to his mother Amina, into the Quraish, the then ruling tribe of Mecca. Up to the age of eight, he was raised by his grandfather Abdul Muttalib because Abdallah, his father, died in Yathrib a few weeks before Muhammad was born. Amina, his mother, died when he was six. After the death of his grandfather, his uncle Abu Talib then assumed responsibility for raising Muhammad. So Muhammad was born almost 600 years after the birth of Jesus Christ, and then these Muslim theologians want you to believe their lies that Muhammad is the Comforter, the Holy Spirit !!! It is a very, very serious sin to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, and it certainly appears to me that this may be exactly what these Muslim theologians are doing when they claim Muhammad is the Holy Spirit. Mark 3:28-29 " Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: " Those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit are in danger of committing an unpardonable sin - and in danger of eternal condemnation - this is according to Jesus Christ !! I could go on and on folks - showing you lie after lie that is masqueraded as truth in the Koran by that false prophet Muhammad. Muhammad is indeed one of the prophesied antichrists.
1 John 4:1-3 " Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. " 1 John 2:22-23 " Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. " My Bible labels Muhammad (who dictated the Koran) as a liar and a false prophet, and one of the Antichrists, since Muhammad denies the divinity of Jesus Christ, and Muhammad denies that God was the Father of Jesus Christ, and since Mohammed in the Koran denies the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If Muslims don't like this - well then they should have to talk to Jesus Christ about it, since the Bible is His book, and He inspired the writing of it. So please discuss this matter with Jesus - not me - I never wrote the Bible. My duty is to just faithfully teach what the Bible teaches.
