Kyoto Accord Fiasco   

Prime Minister Jean Chretien has announced in Johannesburg that the Canadian Parliament will vote on the ratification of the Kyoto Accord on climate change by the end of this year, 2002 (*as of January 1, 2003 the Kyoto Accord has been ratified by Parliament).

It is not a done deal yet, but right now it looks like the odds are in favor of it being ratified. There is presently strong opposition to Kyoto by the Alberta government.

You are going to no doubt be bombarded by facts, figures, rhetoric, arguments and hot air on the subject, by those in favor and those opposed. So let us look at this matter from a different, and hopefully fresh, productive and innovative point of view.

What should our proper attitude be towards the earth and the environment, as individuals and governments ?  A good question eh ?  Isn't it is a question of where one gets their value system from ?  Are our values as individuals and societies based on political expediency, or on rock solid principles ?  Are our values simply designed to cave in to political pressure, and go along with the crowd, and to be politically correct ? Or do we build  our value system upon a tried and tested, solid Rock and foundation ? 

The House of Israel Party and the leader of the party propose that a new nation called The House of Israel be built out of what now consists of the political entity called Canada. This new nation will have a unique Constitution. 

God's laws as explained in the Bible are the foundation of this new Constitution.   " And the rain descended, and the floods came and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."  Built on The Rock.

39. Love For Nature and Living in Harmony with Nature     We need to encourage our people to be good stewards of the land. Governments can take the lead. God has given us this land and its resources to use, but we have not been given authority to destroy the environment we are dependent upon for survival. Dress and keep the earth.

41. Close To Nature Related Policies   These policies are Biblical based, because although God gave mankind dominion over the earth and other life forms, He also expects us to dress and keep the earth.

Fundamental Flaws In The Kyoto Accord

In my judgment the Kyoto Accord is misguided. The House of Israel party would never support such a deal, because it compromises a nation's sovereignty.   

Gun Registration Fiasco

The national firearms program, which was supposed to cost a total of $2 million will end up costing taxpayers at least $1 billion to develop - and more every year to operate. But exactly how much money the program will lose on an annual basis remains unclear.

When the program was introduced in 1995, the Liberal government said fees charged to gun owners would cover all but $2 million of the program's development costs. Department officials said the program would be self-financing by 2000.

The government, however, has already spent at least $688 million on the program, according to Auditor General Sheila Fraser, who has called the cost overrun the worse she has ever seen. And this year, according to the Justice Department, the firearms program will consume another $113.5 million.

Justice Minister Martin Cauchon defended the registry and said the government will order its own audit of the program to be completed by February,2003.

Parliament was kept in the dark about astronomical cost overruns in the gun control registry that will cost taxpayers $1-billion by 2004. The government estimated that the treasury would lose only $2-million when the registry was launched in 1994, because the $119-million cost would be offset by fees. Instead, costs mounted to $688-million by March, and are expected to rise to $1-billion by 2004-05. The government estimated that by that time it would have received $140-million in fees.

Mr. Rock pointed to the anniversary Friday Dec.6th of the 1989 gun massacre of 14 women at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, which was a catalyst for the 1995 law, as a reminder that the program should continue.

I am not politically correct. Why are so many Canadians, and the media so surprised by the costs of this program ? It was common knowledge that the costs by 2001 would be around one billion ($ 1,000,000,000) . So why all the howling now ? Beats me.

We are not getting the truth as to why we got this enormously costly and wasteful gun registry program. Let me clue you in. It started when crazy Marc Lapine gunned down 14 women in Montreal. The feminists were up in arms. The government caved in and put in the gun registry program to appease the feminist lobby. So the real reason we got this senseless, wasteful program was because the federal government strongly supports feminist ideology (by the way almost all of Canada's governments support feminist ideology).

The feminists also spread the lie and propaganda that all Canadian men were in some way responsible for the murder of these 14 women. I fought hard against this propaganda, and have never accepted the feminist baloney that in some way I was also responsible. It was the act of a lone madman, and it should have been left at that. However, the whole issue was politicized by those intent on furthering their warped feminist political agenda. Male bashing became the politically correct in thing to do. So the loony idea was hatched to register all guns, since men are the ones who own most of the guns, and it was open season on men.

As to why the costs are so high - again we are not getting the whole truth, because of political correctness. When I filled out the forms to register my two hunting rifles a .22 and 30-30 - the forms were sent to P.O. Box 1200,  Miramichi, New Brunswick, E1N 5Z3. This is from where the national gun registry is basically run. Now New Brunswick isn't very centrally located nationally - is it ?  A very large proportion of the cost overruns were accrued in New Brunswick - for construction of facilities, wages etc. Why did the Liberal government choose New Brunswick for the location, from which the program was to be run ?  Was it pork barreling ? Was it buying votes in the Maritimes ?  Was it just another Maritime make work project ? It looks to me like some people just decided to milk this gun registry milk cow for all she was worth. However, it is politically incorrect in Canada to criticize Maritimers for wasting tax payers money, so don't expect to hear much about it.

In a perverse way perhaps it is better at least for the unemployed in New Brunswick to be working in the gun registry offices shuffling papers, than just collecting pogey, or living off of federal transfer payments. However, I would prefer we cut back on immigration, and buy the unemployed (who are willing to relocate and work) a bus ticket to places like Alberta or Ontario where they can find work - instead of just creating a huge costly make work bureaucracy in New Brunswick. Why are we bringing in foreigner workers here in the oil sands in Alberta, when there is so much unemployment in the east ? It's absolutely nuts!  It is so bloody stupid as to be beyond belief. The ones responsible for such idiotic policies show us how little they care about our own people. They prefer to bring in thousands of foreign skilled workers, rather than training our own unemployed for these jobs!!. These jobs should go to Canadians first. 

The consequences of this flawed gun registry scheme are the following:

Those duck hunters who didn't register their guns are now law breakers, and can be fined and even jailed, if charged and convicted. In their confused efforts to fight crime the government has succeeded in creating many more thousands of criminals, from what used to be peaceful hunters, target shooters and farmers. An amazing bit of government magic.

Compulsory gun registration can also very well be hitched up in tandem with the anti-terrorist bill C-36 in order to confiscate people's guns. 

I would suggest you support the House of Israel Party, if you want some sanity in this area. The leader has been opposed to this misguided gun registry scheme from the beginning. There are much more cost effective ways to reduce crime, and reduce deaths by shootings. 

Middle East Peace Proposal

Many Jews, Palestinians and Arab countries seem resigned to the seemingly inevitability of continued warfare, and hostilities in the Middle East. There is no reason why there can't be a period of prolonged peace in the area. As House of Israel Party leader here in Canada (the party remains unregistered as of April 2002), I am willing to offer my services to broker a peace.

It is time the people in these lands begin to cooperate with the inevitable. 

Isaiah 19: 18-19 " In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt shall speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the Lord of hosts; one shall be called the city of destruction. In that day there shall be an altar to the Lord in the midst of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the Lord. "

Isaiah 19:23-25 (from the Living Bible)  " In that day Egypt and Iraq (literally,  Assyria) will be connected by a highway, and the Egyptians and the Iraqi will move freely back and forth between their lands, and they shall worship the same God. And Israel will be their ally; the three will be together, and Israel will be a blessing to them. For the Lord will bless Egypt and Iraq because of their friendship with Israel. He will say, Blessed be Egypt, my people; blessed be Iraq, the land I have made; blessed be Israel my inheritance. "

It is time for unity talks to begin between Iraq and Kuwait. The beginning of a dialogue with the hopes of an eventual unification. 

Too many religious leaders have been fomenting hatred and warfare in that area. We keep being told by Muslim clerics that Islam is a peaceful religion. If so then what have suicide bombers got to do with peace ?  Suicide bombing is a great tragedy for the bomber and the victims. Such tragic, desperate acts of destruction are symptomatic of  a very negative social climate. There are not enough positive, productive, constructive avenues open for the talents and energies of these people. The social climate is too restrictive, and if life and freedoms are continually being denied then people react in various negative ways, like through escapism, apathy, or destructiveness. These suicide bombings are acts of desperation by a people who feel trapped and hopeless.

The solution lies in the direction of freeing up these people, opening up opportunities and offering genuine opportunities for participation within society. The solution lies in the direction of offering Palestinians and Jews alike - hope. Hope that is based on genuine reforms, and opportunities for participation by all. If our energies and talents don't have constructive, productive outlets, because of a negative social climate then people quite often turn towards destructiveness. This destructiveness can be directed inwards or outwards towards others, or the perceived enemies. This is obviously what is happening now in Israel.

Israel must agree to stop importing foreign labour, and open up these jobs to their own people and to Palestinians. 

Jews and Arabs are Semitic peoples, whose common ancestor is Abraham. God is the God of all mankind - Jew and Arab alike. 

The Temple must be rebuilt in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount. There is no reason why the Temple and the Dome of the Rock, cannot sit near each other on the Temple Mount. If there isn't enough room then expand the area they sit on to accommodate both. Perhaps just move one of the walls over a bit. Where does it say in scripture that the Temple must be built exactly on the same spot as Herod's or Solomon's Temple for example. Find a way so both religions can share the same general area. The Temple need not be 100% on the same site, because God loves all men Jews and Muslims alike.

Israel must take over control of the Temple Mount, but the integrity of the Muslim Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount must be respected.

Jerusalem will be a weapons free zone. Even the Police won't be allowed to carry weapons in Jerusalem. Violators will be punished severely. Naturally, if there are those who violate the peaceful sanctity of Jerusalem violently, or with weapons - the Israeli government has the right to send in its armed forces to deal with the violators.

Arab lands and other neighbouring countries, like Iran must recognize Israel's claim to that land - anciently called Canaan. God promised it to Israel. Do you think it wise to fight God's will ?  Israel in Palestine needs to be encouraged to create friendly relations with  Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait and Iran, but these countries must recognize the Jewish reality and want to enter into peaceful relations.

All of Gaza and the West Bank need to become part of Israel. All Jerusalem needs to be under Israeli rule. 

There needs to be no combination of church and state as far as government is concerned. The government of Israel must be secular, but that certainly doesn't mean it should reject, or neglect it's religious heritage, which is mainly Judaism.

No Palestinian State envisioned whatsoever in the peace plan.

Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza and in Israel itself should be absorbed into Israel, and receive full rights as citizens, but they must denounce violence and not support or engage in terrorist activities. Those who preach violence, and want terror should be banned from Israel. Palestinians allowed to vote, but before they do they must sign a paper saying they agree with Israel's right to exist, and have sworn off violence. Then if they are discovered to be involved in violence and insurrection they can be deported from the country.

Those slated for deportation must be able to appeal the decision in court, if they want to. If the court upheld the decision then they must be exiled. If no countries can be found that are willing to accept them, then they face fines or imprisonment.

Exiled Palestinians will not have the right of return. 

All terrorist organizations must be declared illegal - including Palestinian and Jewish terrorist organizations. 

Palestinian leaders who advocate violence and terrorism can be tried for treason, or exiled. This includes Muslim clerics.

Palestinians not restricted to living in certain areas, or territories. Palestinian Israelis must have the same rights as any other citizens. 

To provide a safety valve, opportunities for emigration opened up for those Palestinians, who refuse to accept the Jewish fact. Opened up to Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, or Kuwait. If the new nation the House of Israel were ever formed in the land currently called Canada, then certainly we can open up channels for immigration of Palestinians, but they cannot be involved in terrorism, and must want to legitimately  start a new life. Priority given to those living in refugee camps. Numbers allowed in will be smaller, and at an even pace - a maximum of 12,000 per year, and other countries encouraged to help out, by offering to accept Palestinian immigration.

If the House of Israel were ever formed here in Canada then we will certainly do what we can within our resources to assist Israel in Palestine, and offer needed financial support and investment. This can and would most certainly include financial assistance to Palestinian Israelis.

These major changes may require a change in the government of Israel, and even in the Constitution. However, no changes can be permitted that would compromise Israel's right to exist, their right to defend themselves, or compromise the security of their citizens.

Such an agreement (in my judgment) would assure peace in the area for at least the next 30 to 40 years. However, Bible prophecy says clearly there will be severe problems in this Middle East area just prior to the coming of the Messiah.

That is basically my peace proposal for the area. However, if Jews and Palestinians insist on continuing to maim and kill each other that is their choice. 

The problem seems to be a lack of leadership and vision. This is a serious problem here in Canada too. I am in the process of offering Canadians the chance to seize the moment, make some history and support me and the House of Israel Party in building a new nation. Of course nothing is stopping Canadians from continuing to support the same old corrupt, and incompetent leadership they have grown so accustomed to. It is your God given right to suffer. But if and when you Canadians and Jews in Israel, and Palestinians have had enough of suffering under your famous leaders - then give me and the House of Israel Party a call, and we can make some real positive and productive changes.

So folks, please don't say no one is giving peace a chance.  Don't your children deserve a prolonged period of peace ? Or would you prefer they commit suicide by being  blown to bits, or die in an endless war ? Or would Canadians prefer to continue seeing over 100,000 of the unborn murdered through abortions in Canada each year ?

No one - not even God, is going to stop you from destroying each other and from suffering. It is your God given right to suffer. Give me a call when you are fed up with the suffering and are ready and willing to give peace a chance.

Alberta Drought 2002

Severe drought has devastated crops, pastures and hay land in about 70 % Alberta's agricultural land. Areas around Edmonton, particularly east of the capital city have been hit hard. 

Why is it so dry ?  Is this just a cyclical thing ? Is this drought an act of God ? Is there nothing that can be done to improve the moisture level on our farms ? 

There seems to be a lot of evidence to suggest global warming is a fact of life. This is affecting our weather. However, it is more than that. 

There are natural deserts, and then there are man made deserts. The great Sahara desert in Northern Africa was once much, much smaller than now. Destructive farming and grazing methods gradually dried the land out and the desert began growing. If something isn't done fast we may very well see parts of Alberta turning into a desert. This can still be reversed, but action must be taken quickly.

The House of Israel Party has some very innovative policies that will help to protect the environment, improve soils, and preserve wet lands. Go to agricultural policy.  There is also the HIP plan for habitat protection, which is an environmental tax, or incentive for land owners to keep portions of their properties in a natural undeveloped state. There is a lot that can be done to protect and improve our water resources. Where there is a will there is a way. However, if we continue to see the present widespread environmentally destructive practices followed then don't expect things to improve. 

I find it disgusting when the media, governments and others give Mother Nature the credit, or blame for our weather. Who is this Mother Nature ?  Are people too embarrassed, ashamed or too politically correct to tell it like it is. I am not politically correct. God is the creator of nature. God is the one who gives us rain.

However, I pointed out to you that much of the dry conditions we are experiencing is due to mismanagement of the land. God did not cut down most of the aspen forests. God did not drain the swamps and pot holes. People are responsible for that. 

God is quite capable of giving us rain in due season, and blessing our land with life giving showers. However, God is ignored and pushed to the side here in money worshipping Alberta. Money and capitalism reigns supreme - not God. 

The courts are corrupt. The justice system is broken down and a sick joke. Family breakdown is very high. Homosexuals are catered to, and considered normal by way too many. The unborn are butchered through abortions. Doctors are paid through Alberta Medicare to kill the unborn. Our resources are sold out to foreigners. Illegal immigrants and bogus refugees are treated better than the citizens. Ordinary working people are screwed and cheated at every turn, by a corrupt system, and by corrupt governments and corrupt businesses. It is a wonder how a honest and decent man goes on living in such a corrupt environment.

Why should God bless Alberta with showers when almost nothing is being done by the current crop of leaders to clean up the corrupt mess ? 

I and the HIP will work on reducing corruption. God's laws are the foundation on which the new proposed House of Israel Constitution will be built. For details on what this exactly means go to House of Israel Party Newsletter.  Will fight the good fight against corruption, and am asking you to give me the power to do this in an official government role. 

Won't God be pleased and bless our land with rain in due season, and abundant harvests, if we are doing what pleases Him ? Won't God be happy and bless our land, when He sees us fighting crime, building strong families, implementing and carrying out fair, just and sound government policies ? 

In the meanwhile perhaps the current crop of Alberta rulers (like King Ralph) can pray to Mother Nature, or their false god of money. Let us see if their idols can give them rain.

MULTICULTURALISM

You are perhaps familiar with the famous Canadian multicultural slogan " Unity Through Diversity." Let us analyze this a bit.

Canada and Canadians are supposed to be united by being different ! We are different, so we are united by our differences !  Do you have trouble with the concept ?  How can you unite something by dividing it ?  Yet this is precisely what Canada's rulers are trying to do.

What is Canadian culture? What is a Canadian ? Canadian culture is defined in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms as multiculturalism. Therefore a Canadian is simply one who practices multiculturalism. That is how Canadian law interprets it. If you disagree then show me otherwise.

Under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms,  Schedule B   in the Constitutional Act,1982  Part 1  point # 27 we read:

MULTICULTURAL HERITAGE.   27." This Charter shall be interpreted in a manner consistent with the preservation and enhancement of the multicultural heritage of Canadians."

Please note the phrase " preservation and enhancement of the multicultural heritage of Canadians." Canadian law seeks to preserve and enhance multiculturalism. A cultural melting pot concept is officially rejected in the Charter. Canadian governments are legally obligated to support official multiculturalism. So in reality the Canadian Constitution demands our rulers work to divide the country. 

Yet most of our leaders enthusiastically embrace multiculturalism. Why ? Very simple !  They court the ethnic vote. Most are too timid to demand constitutional change in this area. They are afraid to offend all the immigrants , because it is politically incorrect to not cater to the ethnics. Just more politically correct insanity. Multiculturalism is a Canadian sacred cow.

This official multiculturalism policy is misguided and out of whack with nature. People's whole rational thinking processes are distorted and twisted in their irrational attempts to support a policy that doesn't make any sense. 

To illustrate, we keep being told that Canada is a nation of immigrants and except for the natives, we all came here from somewhere else. This is completely false, but it is a fable we are supposed to accept. According to Statistics Canada from 1851 to 1996 roughly 37,150,000 babies have been born in Canada. In the same period there were approximately 14,550,000 immigrants. If you are born here you are not an immigrant. This is not rocket science. Yet the silly notion persists that we all came from somewhere else ,except for the native people ! Why do people cling to this idea? The policy of multiculturalism has robbed them of their reason.

Among these 14,550,000 immigrants were a lot of children 6 years old and under. For children that age it really doesn't matter much where they were born. Once they get here they easily pick up the language and customs and are very quickly, virtually indistinguishable from a child born and raised here. So we can safely subtract maybe 2,000,000 or so from the number 14,550,000. So we are probably looking at roughly 12,000,000 real immigrants from 1851 to 1996.

Another illustration of how the sacred cow of multiculturalism has distorted too many people's thinking  has to do with the aboriginals or natives or first nations or whatever tribe they are called. You know how people talk. They say the aboriginals were here first. All the rest are immigrants. For sure if you go back far enough it is true these tribes were here before the white man. However, where did their ancestors come from? Did they just sprout out of the earth? The evidence suggests their forbearers came from Asia. And where did the Asians come from ? All mankind originally came from the Middle East area - the cradle of civilization. Tradition tells us that our first parents lived in a garden for a time somewhere in that general area.

The thinking gets so twisted and distorted that so-called aboriginals who aren't even 50 years old claim that they were here before the white man arrived. An Indian child (say someone of the Sioux Tribe) born today in 2001 in Calgary is said to have been here before all of us older people, who were born here , but whose ancestors came from another land !!! This doesn't make any sense. 

The divisive official policy of multiculturalism has so distorted many Canadian's minds that they don't even know who they are, or where they are living. Many are locked in the past living in a world that doesn't exist, except in their minds.

Immigrants come here to start a new life. If they had preferred their old home they would not have left it. Yet when they get here the government wants them to cling to their ethnic roots. So it is very difficult for immigrants to become rooted in this land, because multiculturalism is holding them back. Many of them are living in a kind of cultural limbo, stuck in cultural ghettoes. 

Official multiculturalism has been entrenched in Canadian law and governments are required to carry the policy out. To illustrate let's have a brief look at some parts of the Canadian Multiculturalism Act  from 1988.

"Multiculturalism Policy

3. (1) It is hereby declared to be the policy of the Government of Canada to

(b) recognize and promote the understanding that multiculturalism is a fundamental characteristic of Canadian heritage and identity and that it provides an invaluable resource in the shaping of Canada's future;

(f) encourage and assist the social, cultural, economic and political institutions of Canada to be both respectful and inclusive of Canada's multicultural character;

(i) preserve and enhance the use of languages other than English and French, while strengthening the status and use of the official languages of Canada;

Federal Institutions 

(2) It is further declared to be the policy of the Government of Canada that all federal institutions shall

(a) ensure that Canadians of all origins have an opportunity to obtain employment and advancement in those institutions; "

It is very clear that multiculturalism is thoroughly entrenched in Canadian law. If you read all these documents and lofty platitudes you will find very, very little room for those who just  don't want to be a hyphenated Canadian. There is no room for the majority in the stifling,  politically correct, hiring equity politics in our federal institutions. They just don't register. They just don't fit into the artificial, government sanctioned multiculturalism mold. 

In the new nation the House of Israel a common culture based on our traditions will be promoted. These traditions are based on nature - not politics.   Nothing will be stopping people from following multiculturalism, if they want. They can still cling to their ancestral cultural roots, if they want. It's just that they will have to do it all on their own. There won't be any government support given.

This natural common culture actually exists already. However, it is not flowering  as it should, because of the artificial cultural weed of multiculturalism. There is also the problem of United States cultural imperialism and Canadian submission to the domination.

There has been this myth that we don't have any culture. In reality a very rich natural common culture exists already. It just hasn't been allowed to express itself properly. The simple solution is to pull out that political, unnatural multiculturalism weed that has prevented our true culture from flowering properly. It has been sucking up too much fertilizer and water.  Actively resist United States cultural imperialism. Then you will see an astonishing cultural bloom. There are so very many natural traditions our people share. So many things we have in common. That is the way to promote unity. 

A house divided cannot stand. Multiculturalism is by its nature divisive. It is not possible to unite something by dividing it. The famous Canadian slogan " Unity through diversity " is a colossal myth.

G-8 Summit Report (July 1,2002)         

The G-8 summit in Kananaskis here in Southern Alberta is over. There was massive military and police presence. Security costs were around $ 300 to $400 million dollars depending on who you talk to. Everything was very peaceful, including protesters.

Here is my summary and assessment of this G-8 Summit. 

Nothing happened. However, the authorities were well pleased with the summit, even though nothing happened.

The meeting among the eight leaders went on for only about one and a half(1 ½) days! It was ridiculously short. Little can be done with eight leaders in two days. The summit should have been at least 3 days long. In a two day summit - the first day is spent getting there and settling in, and then the second day they are leaving already !!! Tax payers don't get hardly any work out of them. With a three day summit we would have gotten at least one solid day of work from them -  which would have been the second day. 

The cost of the summit is anywhere from 300 million dollars (Canadian dollars) to 400 million dollars. A lot is money that would be paid out anyways, to the military and police. There needs to be an honest public accounting of expenses, and especially those expenses that are over and above what would normally be paid out to police and the military, and others involved. The police and military are paid anyways. Where exactly is all that money going ? 300 to 400 million dollars for two days is a huge amount of money. It appears extremely excessive.

Why were the police being used to guard the media at the convention centre in downtown Calgary ? I asked some officers standing there that question. They said there were also delegates staying there. Yet the question remains unanswered. Why do we need police to guard the media ? I had to go past the convention centre to get to work. There were about ten cops standing at each corner, with nothing to do. They looked bored to death. About 40 police to keep us away from the media !!!  Isn't the media supposed be in touch with the ordinary people, or is that just a naive notion ?

And what did all those media folks have to do ? Seems like they were as bored to death as the cops. 

Had already anticipated the twist the media, City Fathers and authorities would put on this summit. If there would have been violence (there was none however) they would have claimed this proved the need for the massive security. If there was no violence (which was the case) then they would claim this was due to the massive security measures. So basically it did not matter what happened - the organizers had their propaganda twist well prepared. 

In my judgment the massive security measures prove that we here in Alberta, Canada are living in a police state. The excessive security measures show us the contempt our rulers have towards the free exchange of ideas and democracy.

The leaders of these so-called democracies are treated more like Emperors than elected officials. Are not they supposed to be the servants of the people ? Then why are they treated like Kings ? 

It was amusing to read and hear some of the media refer to the G-8 as a summit of western countries. Yet Russia and Japan are part of the G-8. Isn't it time to bury this silly notion of east and west ? We here in Alberta are east of China, and China is west of us. 

The way it looks to me is that these summits are for the elite. There is this little closed club consisting of the leaders and their court, the bureaucrats, the media and others who are part of the in-crowd. The police and military are used as pawns to protect the upper crust from us ordinary supposedly unwashed masses. 

The plan for aid for Africa was very, very sad. Why doesn't prime Minister Jean Chretien clean up the corruption in his own government first, before trying to clean up the corrupt mess in Africa ? This is for all these leaders. Clean up your own damn backyard first, before you try and clean up that of your neighbours.

The planned aid for Africa will probably be mostly swallowed up by the corrupt governments and officials in these lands. Some will trickle down to the needy, but not enough. 

It was announced that Russia will be given billions of dollars (mostly from the USA) to dispose of, or clean up some of its old nuclear weapons. This is nothing more than bribe money, to keep Russia from selling its nuclear know how to the enemies of the USA. The USA has been bribing Russia since Boris Yeltsin was President. So it isn't really anything new.

In summary nothing happened during the G-8 Summit in Kananaskis. Yet the leaders and organizers were well pleased, and trumpeted the whole summit as a success. Why ? Who knows.  Nothing happened. And even if something was starting to happen - the summit was over too fast for it to happen.  

Was born and raised in Alberta, and have lived in Calgary since 1989 . It is disappointing, but not unexpected to see what little value most of our current crop of Canadian rulers place on the free exchange of ideas, and legitimate peaceful protest. 

You can talk, yell, scream and lobby the rich and powerful all you want, but it is all useless unless you can translate your discontent into a political, practical movement. You have to support a party that will do something concrete to help working people, and that is prepared to keep capitalism and the huge corporations under control. A party that is prepared to run candidates, and take over power to effect fundamental change. The House of Israel Party is that vehicle for real change. The HIP is supportive of free enterprise and capitalism with certain caveats attached. The party supports capitalism, but does not support international capitalism that exploits and cheats countries and peoples out of their resources. The party is opposed to unfettered capitalism, which is designed to exploit cheap labour and set up shop in poor countries with lax labour laws. The resources of the land belong to the citizens of that country, and must be used for the benefit of the citizens first and foremost. 

Foreign investment is fine, as long as people and resources are not plundered and exploited to fatten rich countries, or a small wealthy elite. And as long as it does not compromise the sovereignty of the country. Naturally foreign investors won't invest, if they can't make money. Profits are the lifeblood of any business. Making money is no crime. What is important is that wealth be divided up more equitably, or more fairly. That means paying workers a fair wage. That means the ordinary citizens of the country seeing direct benefits from the foreign investment. It simply means working out a fair and balanced system, where foreign investors can make a profit, while paying their fair share of taxes to the host country, and opening up opportunities for jobs for workers in that country. 

Capitalism is a great economic system as long as there are a good set of labour laws in place, that is spread out among many and not concentrated, and that the capitalist workhorse is harnessed and controlled.

Unfortunately what we are seeing  right now in 2002 is capitalism running wild and amok all around the world. The great flaw in the present capitalist system is that over time power, wealth and decision making becomes concentrated in fewer and fewer hands. Ordinary folks lose more and more control over their lives, particularly on the job. A few of the extremely wealthy, or those who control the wealth are making most of the important decisions. Power is concentrated rather than diffused. The simple solution to correct that fatal flaw is to spread it out more, and diffuse rather that concentrate wealth and decision making. You need to elect into a government a party that isn't controlled by big money. The House of Israel Party is not and never will be controlled by the wealthy.

International capitalism is gradually strangling and enslaving the world. A very small number of extremely wealthy individuals and corporations are gaining more and more control over most of mankind and earth's resources. 

We could go on for page after page documenting the enormous gap between rich and poor, particularly in third world countries. It could be explained in-depth how there are an estimated 27,000,000 people worldwide who are enslaved in various ways and  degrees. However, there is a lot of information out there already about these problems. 

What we need is action, not more and more studies and talk. Here listed for you are some of the major HIP policies that will address the problems in our land of unfettered capitalism, the growing gap between rich and poor and related issues.  Also it is the goal of the party to create a new nation called the House of Israel with a unique constitution, out of what now consists of the political entity called Canada. Peaceful democratic change is promoted. 

1. No more economic exploitation of our resources by foreigners. 
2. Raw materials processed in our own country.  Raw material export either banned outright or greatly restricted.  
3. Taking care of our own first. It is not in our national interests to treat the foreigner better than our own people. We need to train our own people first, and give them the first crack at jobs. 
4. Nationalization of the energy  and electricity sectors to protect our futures and national interests.    Go down to #27i to see the policy on electricity.
5. Limits set on how big a company could grow, and limitations set on how far mergers could go.  
6.  Freedom of competition   We can't expect our own domestic companies to compete with foreign firms that pay their workers starvation wages, or who use slave labour to produce the product. We will ban the import of products made by slave labour.
7. The HIP is opposed to the Free Trade Agreement ( FTA), the North American Free Trade Agreement( NAFTA) and the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas ( FTAA ). Once a House of Israel government is elected, and the voters approve of the new constitution in a fair and free referendum - these deals will be abrogated, cancelled, finished. Canadians have never, ever given the government any clear democratic mandate to enter into these deals. They have simply been imposed on us the ordinary citizens.  
8. The new nation the House of Israel will strive to live in harmony with the international community, but we will not be prepared to sign or enter into any trade agreement of defense alliance if it means lose of sovereignty. We shall not sacrifice our independence and sovereignty in the new nation the House of Israel, simply for the sake of signing a military alliance, or trade agreement. We will forge our own independent policies, but still will not abandon our traditional friends. It will not be in the national interests of the new nation the House of Israel to senselessly alienate long standings friends and allies. 

9. Government and business working together to protect our national interests. Working to break down the adversarial relationship between management and labour.   

Your support in publicizing the concept of the new nation the House of Israel is needed. 

We are witnesses to a new capitalist world order controlled and dominated by the United States. The problem is that there are no alternatives to this USA controlled world order. It is my hope that the concept of the House of Israel can be the beginnings to a viable alternative to the present one world system being forced on us.

Friendly Fire Madness Kills Four Canadian Soldiers and Wounds Eight

The soldiers killed in Afghanistan are Marc Leger, Ainsworth Dyer, Richard Green, and Nathan Smith. The wounded are Lorne Ford, Stanley Clark, Curtis Hollister, Shane Brennan, Brian Decaire, Rene Paquette, Brett Perry and Norman Link. 

There have been many opinions expressed regarding these senseless deaths. Let's cut out the guff and get to the truth. 

With friends like this - Who needs enemies ? This has been a tremendous national embarrassment and humiliation for Canada. If the men had been killed by the enemy in combat then they could legitimately be called heroes. However, they were on a training exercise. Involved in a simulated war game at night among themselves. They were killed by a bomb dropped from a United States warplane flown by a trigger happy pilot. These are supposedly Canada's friends and allies. These men are therefore victims - genuine tragic victims.

Canada is dominated economically, culturally and militarily by their big brother the United States. All the hype, the huge funeral and excessive official display of sorrow was basically a face saving gesture by Canadian authorities, and many confused, perplexed ordinary citizens. This does not mean I am trivializing the men's death and suffering, or not respecting and acknowledging their commitment and bravery. Death and suffering is not pleasant, and we certainly must not forget the ultimate price paid. However, let us see these things within the correct and realistic historical perspective.

In World War 1,  around 628,736 Canadians served,  66,573 died and 138,166 were wounded, 2,818 were taken prisoner of war, and 175 merchant seamen died by enemy action (the vast, overwhelming majority of the dead and wounded were men). I am not a feminist, nor am I politically correct.

In World War 11 -  1,031,902 male Canadians and 49,963 female Canadians served, 44,927 died and 53,145 were wounded (the vast overwhelming majority of the dead and wounded were men),   8,271 were taken prisoner of war, and 1,146 merchant seamen died by enemy action.

In the Korean War 26,791 Canadians served, 516 died, 1,558 were wounded and 33 were taken prisoner of war.

Yes it is unfortunate these four soldiers died, but folks over 100,000 Canadians have died in Warfare since 1914 !! And please let us not try to rewrite history - the overwhelming majority of these were men, and white men at that. 

Then why so much official sorrow over these four men ? There must be something more to it. Over 700 Canadians are killed in the workplaces of Canada each year. Thousands are crippled - many for life. No, there is something more to this then meets the eye.

The truth is that the little United States colony Canada, is confused and bewildered by these events. How could their protector, the one they so admire and wish to emulate so much, do this to them ?  It is the public reaction here in Canada that is so fascinating. Will it finally sink into the public's awareness that Canada is just taken for granted in the USA ?  Is this one of the last nails in the coffin of Canadian national self-esteem, and self-respect ?  Will Canadian authorities in government just roll over and submit to USA domination ?  Will they even allow their own soldiers to be killed by USA bombs, without a whimper of protest ?  Or will the spin doctors just manipulate public opinion and chalk it up as the inevitable consequences of war, and thus save face and continue the official denial of Canada's colonial reality ?

Commentary             Welcome To Ralph's World             by Ray Wegner

After the polls closed in Alberta during the 2001 Provincial election it was clear very early on that Ralph Klein had won a smashing majority. Mr. Klein prepared to address the people. It was very evident he had started celebrating before his victory speech, since his words were slurred. 

What were the first words out of his mouth ? Was it to thank his party workers ? Was it to say that the people have spoken ? Was it to thank all those who voted for him and the Ralph Party ? Were his first words to thank all those who took the time and effort to run in the election, and to exult in democracy. No !  The first words out of his mouth were  "  Welcome To Ralph's World ! "    Doesn't that say it all ?   The little tin pot Alberta dictator, who doesn't even have the common courtesy to stay away from the bottle before giving his victory speech. 

The media spin doctors went to work immediately and neatly justified his inebriated speech, by claiming he had a right to celebrate, after such a huge win. Anyways this is Ralph - one of the boys, and a man of the people went the twist. King Ralph can do no wrong.

It is important we study a little history. Peter Lougheed and the Tories won the Provincial Election in 1971, over a Social Credit government that had ruled Alberta for 36 years straight (from 1935 -1971). When Lougheed took over oil prices were quite low, as they had been for years and years. Then the Yom Kippur War started on Oct.6,1973, between Israel and her Arab foes. Israel crushed their enemies. The Arabs countered by an oil embargo against Western countries, which supported Israel. With reduced supply and a strong demand the price of oil literally skyrocketed. The Tories in Alberta suddenly, and totally unexpectedly found themselves sitting on black gold. Energy revenue from royalties poured into Provincial coffers at an astonishing pace. Very quickly Lougheed found himself sitting on an enormous fiscal surplus.

The government had money to burn. Spending went way up. The Heritage Trust Fund was created, because there was such an embarrassment of riches. It was to be a rainy day fund. 

The Trudeau Liberals eventually stepped in and imposed the hated National Energy Program (NEP), which basically was a blatant raid on the resources of Albertans. The NEP was put in place in 1980, and was phased out in 1984 by the Federal PC Party.

Peter Lougheed was a very popular Premier (from 1971-1985), but he retired, and Don Getty won the Provincial Tory leadership, and became Premier on Nov.1,1985. Tory spending in Alberta was already a problem under Lougheed, but he was shielded by high energy prices. Getty however, stepped up the pace of spending, but energy prices were soft and never recovered to the dizzy heights they were up to in the mid 70's. Consequently huge deficits were racked up. The province was driven massively into debt.

The Provincial Liberals had chosen as leader the popular and fiscally conservative former Mayor of Edmonton, Lawrence Decore. The Tories found themselves on the ropes, facing a very formidable foe in Decore. The Liberals under Decore were gaining more and more support, and were certainly a very viable and capable government in waiting. The PCs were fading in the polls. 

Don Getty was becoming more and more unpopular and in fact failed to win his seat in White Mud in the 1989 election, and was forced to go outside Edmonton to get a seat. The writing was on the wall for the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta. The Provincial Liberals (who under Decore were really a small C conservative party) were licking their chops just waiting for the opportunity to deliver the knock out punch.

The PCs were in a fix. Getty was clearly a liability. They had to do something to save their hide. The provincial debt was out of control. The province continued to rack up huge deficits. The natives were restless. The pressure was on Getty to step down, which he did. In the subsequent leadership convention Ralph Klein won, and became Premier on Dec.14, 1992.

There was a provincial election in 1993. There was very little difference between the Klein Tories and the Decore Liberals. In fact they both had pretty well the same plan, which was to get deficit spending under control. Ray Martin the leader of the New Democratic Party of Alberta called them the " slash and burn twins. "  He would mockingly call them  "  Ralph Decore and Lawrence Klein - the slash and burn twins. "  And he was basically correct, but it will be a cold day in hell, before Albertans will ever elect the socialists. Martin's strong campaign performance, and correct assessment of the situation didn't help him at the polls.

Well Klein squeaked out a narrow 51 - 32 win over the Liberals. Ralph had saved the Tory bacon. He had managed through skillful public relations to put a new Ralph face on a tired out and corrupt Progressive Conservative Party. It was an amazing coup. The Tories retained power, by riding the coattails of Ralph Klein. He was now their meal ticket.

Klein keeps his word (Gasp! A politician that kept a promise !!) and slays the deficit dragon. Now he becomes more popular than ever. What then happened in my judgment was that the Ralph Party was born,  as was King Ralph. Officially the party governing Alberta is the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta, but in reality it's the Ralph Party. Ralph is their meal ticket. They owe a huge debt to him. So basically it can be compared to a dictatorship. King Ralph is calling all of the important shots. These people practically worship the ground Ralph walks on. Klein also effectively removed any kind of threats to his leadership in the party by skillfully knifing Ken Kowalski in the back, and neutralizing him. 

In fact during the 1997 election campaign here in Alberta the words Progressive Conservative Party were hardly even mentioned in the campaign by the governing party. Campaign lawn signs displayed the big and bold words " Ralph's Team."  And way down in the corner, looking like Magpie droppings, were the tiny letters " PCs ! "  You had to strain you eyes to make them out. As a commuter I had to endure giant billboards with King Ralph's mug on them, which said " He listens. He cares. "  Not a single word about the PC Party. 

The Ralph Party is (or at least used to be)  fiscally conservative. It is not socially conservative, although there were and still are some genuine social conservatives among their ranks. The PC Party of Alberta was effectively taken over by Ralph, because of the fact he is their meal ticket, and the one on whose coattails many of the MLAs have ridden to power. It is a very, very, unhealthy and undemocratic situation.

Basically what we have today in April of 2002 in Alberta is a dictatorship. King Ralph rules, practically unopposed and unchallenged. The opposition is weak and ineffective. Spending has been creeping up, and up. The teachers are up in arms. Voters feel betrayed after Ralph promised " the only way taxes are going is down, " and then raises Health Care premiums, and taxes on liquor and smokes. 

The shine on King Ralph's armor is losing its luster, and beginning to rust. But there is no real alternative for Albertans, at this time. However, given Alberta's history, we are definitely due for a change - and in Alberta it can come very fast. We are ripe for change. 

In the meanwhile, in the words of the King of Alberta, "  Welcome to Ralph's World. "

SEPT. 11TH  TERRORIST ATTACKS ON THE WORLD TRADE CENTER AND PENTAGON

It is vital we establish some simple truths. There has been too much hysteria and misinformation about this attack here in Canada.

1.  Fact  -   Canada was not attacked on September 11th. You have been hearing different, but this is simply misinformation. You have been told Canada was attacked.

The target was the United States - the World Trade Center Towers and the Pentagon. It is true about one score of Canadians died. However, people from other countries also perished. There is absolutely no proof that Canada, and Canadians were targeted. It is just that some Canadians were unfortunate to be caught up in the tragedy, due to just being at the wrong place at the wrong time. They were just doing business, or whatever they were up to. The vast majority of victims were from the United States.

2. Fact  -  Canada has not been attacked yet by any terrorists, and we are now into the latter part of January, 2002.

Yet the Chicken Littles have been running around in panic, spreading fear about attacks that in their minds are imminent. Yet there hasn't been anything. It is all hype and senseless hysteria.

3. Fact  -  There hasn't been a single case of anthrax yet in Canada. Yet there is this unreasonable fear being spread that it is coming. Yet there is nothing happening folks. 

4. Fact  -  Our freedoms, democracy, and way of life were not attacked on Sept.11th. Yet you have been fed the propaganda that our very way of life was under assault, as was our freedoms and our democratic system.

This is just a pack of baloney. Can anyone explain exactly how these attacks threaten Canada's democracy, Canadian's freedoms and our way of life ?  Will this prevent elections from being held ? Will it stop us from speaking out ?  It is all very silly.

All the threats to our democracy and freedom are from within. The dangers are in the form of voter alienation and apathy, the concentration of power and decision making, political party discipline, the lack of power of the typical back bench Member of Parliament, the lose of sovereignty due the FTA and NAFTA and so on. 

5. Fact  -   Canada has gotten involved militarily, because we are part of NATO.  Under that military alliance, if one of the members is attacked then this is deemed an attack on all. The other members are obligated to support the country under attack. So Canada doesn't really have any choice, but to get involved militarily. They were asked to contribute and are obligated under the treaty to do so. Some Canadians seem to think Chretien had an option to get involved militarily or not, but this is not true.

About the only way we could become disengaged from this war on terrorism is for us to go it on our own in regards to defense. This would mean depending on our own resources, and our own armed forces to defend our borders. That would mean a lot more money and manpower would have to be devoted towards defense. Canadian rulers have instead opted for depending on alliances like NATO, and the United States for military support. Then they can get away with spending very little. Of course the downside to this is that Canada, due to the defense alliances they belong to, simply has to go along with countries like the USA and Britain. There is no room for an independent foreign policy in this area. So Canada is just a follower, because in the big international political arena Canada is a small player. Other bigger countries like the USA and Britain are calling the shots.

6. Fact  -  The terrorists have succeeded in spreading terror throughout the USA. The goal of terrorists is to spread fear and terror among their foes. The aim of terrorism is to terrorize. They have had great success in the USA. 

What is amazing is the unreasonable level of fear in Canada. It is so absolutely irrational. We are dealing with a sort of collective paranoia. Too many Canadians are living in fear for no rational reason. Canada, the USA colony is seemingly stricken by a hysteria. Yet we were not attacked. It is all so very silly. 

Of course there is a remote possibility Canada may be attacked. So precautions need to be taken, especially since Canada has joined the USA in this war. However, these should be measured and realistic. We do not need anymore ' the sky is falling ' routines.

7. Fact  -   The Canadian government has over reacted, or reacted inappropriately.  The Justice Minister has tabled an anti-terrorism bill, which has great potential for abuse and unreasonable restriction of our freedoms. 

Yet the real problem is the fact that the government refuses to get tough with illegal immigrants and bogus refugees. Instead they introduce a draconian,  anti-terrorism  omnibus bill, which can very easily be abused to persecute our own citizens who lawfully oppose backward government policy. The majority of Canadians want less immigration, and they want the authorities to get tough with people who come here illegally. Yet nothing is ever done about it. 

8. Fact  -  The people involved in the hijacking of the planes on Sept. 11th were living in the United States. This was not a foreign attack. The people were working and living in America.

The  problem here for the USA is not Osama bin Laden. It is their lax immigration laws. The United States is letting in too many immigrants, and failing to screen people properly. Also there are far too many illegal immigrants and bogus refugees entering the USA. 

The USA - Mexican border is a sieve. This has been going on for decades and very, very little has been done to stem this foreign invasion. And that is exactly what it is. A foreign invasion !  These people don't have any right to be in the United States. Yet the authorities turn a blind eye and just take token efforts to stem the flood. Why ? Because these illegals provide a docile and cheap source of labour. It is something business quietly approves of.

The statistics are frightening. There was in 2000 an estimated  6 to 11 million illegal aliens living in the United States. 

In the year 2000 - 18 % of Americans didn't speak English in their homes. 17,000,000 didn't speak English very well, and 7,000,000 spoke little or no English. The majority of these were Spanish speaking.

11,000,000 Californians, or 2 out of 5 residents do not speak English in their homes.

The USA governments have failed to protect their own citizens from foreign invaders. How can you claim to be the champion of freedom and democracy, when you allow so many illegal immigrants and bogus refugees to invade your soil ? Did the citizens give the authorities the right to ignore the laws ?  Why should anyone have to put up with illegal aliens ? It is absolutely ridiculous. 

Instead of bombing the Taliban in Afghanistan, why doesn't Bush do something about the foreign invasion right in his own land ?  It is happening  right under his nose in his home State of Texas ? Get real people.  Why is the USA letting in terrorists ? 

9. Fact  -  The USA is using bombs to search out and destroy the flea Osama bin Laden. 

This is gross over reaction. Total overkill. You don't need a stick of dynamite to kill a rat.

The bombing of Afghanistan doesn't make any sense. This is one of the poorest nations in Asia. The country has been ravished by war for around 20 years ?  The country is littered with millions of land mines planted by the Soviet Union. About 1 ½   million Afghans were killed in the repulsing of the Soviet invasion. The USA armed Afghanistan and Osama bin Laden so they could fight off the USSR and Communism. They were called freedom fighters then. Now they are terrorists, or those responsible for harboring terrorists !

What this senseless, knee jerk reaction by the USA and its allies is doing is just fomenting more hatred against the USA and the countries helping them. It is just the perfect breeding ground for future terrorists. 

There are other more precise ways of dealing with terrorists. Haven't the people of Afghanistan suffered and fought enough?  More and more people here in Canada are going to realize that you don't win friends and influence people by bombing them. The ordinary Afghans shouldn't have to suffer because some nut bars flew planes into some buildings in the USA. They had nothing to do with it. 

There needs to be a bigger vision then just  '  bomb the hell out of them .'   Right now this greater vision is seriously lacking among our sad, vicious and cruel crop of world leaders.

Who Are the Real Terrorists In Canada ?

The Chicken Littles in Canada were running about hysterically after the Sept. 11th attacks crying   " The Terrorists Are Coming !  The Terrorists Are Coming ! "  The paranoid, neurotic Liberals were caught up in this mass delusion. They went along with the media hysterics and reacted stupidly by passing the draconian,  anti-terrorism  omnibus  Bill C-36. 

Yet the real terrorists in this country remain free and at large. This group has been terrorizing Canadians for generations. They are not a coherent, well organized group. There are no bombings as such, but many, many citizens feel terrorized by them. Many are afraid to confront them, especially the young, women and the elderly. Even many big, grown men often feel intimidated by them, and will just go out of their way to avoid provoking them for fear of retaliation.

It is terrorism. Yet the authorities do virtually nothing about it. Instead they insanely pass stupid legislation to fight shadows and illusions. All the while the real troublemakers run rampant right under the noses of the cops and the confused politicians.  

Well you might be wondering who these homegrown terrorists are. They are those young people who are rebellious and undisciplined !!!  By young people I mean those from perhaps ages 5 to 19. Little kids are really quite innocent of terrorizing the neighborhood. Now there are a lot of decent, good mannered kids and youth out there, so I am not referring to them. Please do not jump to hasty conclusions. I'm not talking about the respectful decent youths. I'm talking about the troublemakers, who are terrorizing whole neighborhoods. 

It seems like practically every community and neighborhood in Canada has their compliment of troubled, bored, restless, undisciplined, vandalizing, reckless young people. It is similar to a plague. They hang around in back allies, in front of convenience stores, and just generally seem to go out of their way to cause trouble and mayhem. They infest our schools as well. Disrupting classes, causing headaches for teachers, interfering with the education of dedicated peaceful students. They are too often bullies, who have little respect for any symbol of authority. 

Property damage caused by these out of control youngsters runs into the multiple millions each year. Vandalism of property is a curse in Canada. I speak from experience, because I worked a few years doing grounds maintenance for a large apartment complex. Fence boards kicked in deliberately. Trees destroyed. Tree limbs broken off. Sod ripped up. Garbage spread all over the place. You clean up the mess, and fix the fence, and the next day, or week it is the same old thing. Kids trampling on other tenants yards with impunity. There are the well behaved young people. They are out there. However, there are way too many who are just out of control. 

The real problem regarding rebellious youngsters goes much deeper. It has to do with parenting. Where are the parents of these out of control kids ?  Why don't they know what their kid is up to ? Why don't they discipline the little monsters ? Why do too many parents permit their little darlings to not respect their neighbors rights and property ? Parents must bear their responsibilities. 

But it goes much deeper yet. Parents can't be expected to do everything themselves. Canada is not a child friendly country (there are over 100,000 therapeutic abortions performed in Canada annually). For over a generation here in Canada the various authorities have through neglect and stupid legislation, systematically undermined the traditional family. It seems like almost every roadblock possible has been placed in front of those who believe in traditional family values, like discipline, authority in the home, and children respecting parents and authority. 

Feminist ideology (which rejects the authority of the Father in the home) has been supported by the governments. This ideology has been ripping the guts out of our homes and families, and has poisoned relations between men and women. Yet governments support it. For decade after decade the National Action Committee For The Status of Women for example, has been funded by governments. This group has repeatedly made the illegitimate claim they speak for and represent all women. Other women's organizations, who are not left wing feminists have not been given similar support. Governments cater to the feminist lobby. The mandatory gun registration scheme is an example. After crazy  Mark Lapine gunned down 14 women in Montreal, the government appeased the feminist lobbyists through the gun registration laws. This has now cost around $ 1,000,000,000  and is generally considered to be a huge waste and a senseless persecution of innocent men and duck hunters. 

So how do you get order in the home, when governments don't even acknowledge the authority of the Father and Husband in the family ? How can there be responsibility without authority ?  The two go together. You can't have one without the other. How can we expect most men to take their responsibilities in the home seriously, when governments don't even acknowledge men have any real authority in the family ? To these governments us Fathers are just wallets. Governments support feminist ideology, which is in conspiracy against Fatherhood. It takes a very determined, courageous and tough man to fight the tide, and vigorously defend their God given authority in the home. 

The religious leaders for the most part have failed miserably to educate the public on God's laws governing the family.  New Testament laws regulating the family are as follows ( Ephesians 5:22-33 , 6:1-2 ) (1 Peter 3:1-8):

1. Husbands commanded to love their wives.
2. Wives commanded to respect and reverence their husbands.
3. Children commanded to obey their parents in the Lord, and honor them.

Here is probably one of your main roots of the problem regarding there being too many dysfunctional families, and too many out of control youth. Too many of the Clergy do not know God, and so have not educated the people on God's rules regarding families. Too many have failed to make clear what God given rights and responsibilities parents have. Little wonder there is so much confusion in this area of authority in the home and discipline of children. 

Children need love and attention. They need a good family environment in order to grow up with good attitudes. Too many kids are not getting enough love in their homes. Too many are living in very negative family environments.  So they act up, and are rebellious, if exposed to very negative family environments. 

If you love your child you will correct and discipline them. And if that means giving the little brat a good spanking - then so be it. Warming their asses a little won't harm them at all in spite of their loud crying. It has to hurt, otherwise it is no deterrent. 

And remember it is not against Canadian law to spank your child, as long as it is not excessive. I do not support the use of sticks or straps. Only recommend spanking with the open hand. Do not support spanking after age twelve. Other forms of discipline may be more effective at times. It depends on the child, their age and the situation. It depends on the severity of the offense, and how seriously the child could harm themselves and others through their actions. With little kids, like two year olds, spanking is often the only thing that works. You can't sit down and reason with a two year old. It is also very important that such discipline be administered as soon as possible after the offense, so the child knows what is going on, and what they did wrong.  The idea is to correct dangerous behavior. Little kids must understand why they are being punished, so explain it to them. Little kids can easily learn the word, NO. Also it is important there be clear guidelines, so kids know the rules of the house. Be consistent. Of course you need to be fair in discipline as well, and not treat one child unfairly.

Also it is very important the parents present a united front with children when disciplining them. Squabbling among parents over how the child is punished will create rifts and deep divisions in the home. That is why it is so important for the authority of the Father to be respected, otherwise how will a decision be made when both parents just don't agree on the means of punishment for the children ?  If the Mother is just left on her own to discipline kids it might be okay when children are smaller.  However, what will happen when they get bigger ?  This is a big problem for single Mothers especially if they have boys. That is why it is so important to maintain a united front, and Fathers lead and participate in disciplining kids.

The discipline children will learn will serve them well in the present and when they are grown, when there won't be any parents around to help them learn. Teach them now when there is still hope. When they are i6, or 18 it will be too late. The first five, or six years are critical. That is the time to instill good attitudes in your kids. 

Such discipline can literally save your child's life. Many of the terrible accidents we hear happening to kids can be prevented.  Certainly not all of them though. Accidents will happen on occasion even under the best of care and diligence.  You need to warn the child of the dangers, and firmly discipline them when they don't listen. The threat of punishment will usually deter the average child from disobeying your clear rules. Be consistent in your administration of punishment for offenses and make sure they know what needs correcting and what rule they broke. Such simple rules like staying away from electrical outlets and cords, not wandering out of the yard, not climbing on cupboards and tables, not turning on the gas on the stove, not playing with matches and fires, not playing on the street, crossing the road properly, not lying and so on. 

Can recall terrible tragedy in our community many years back. Five children burnt to death. The nicest, cutest little blond haired children you will see. The mother gone for maybe 20 minutes to do some chores. She comes back and the house is on fire, and all children perish ! Quite likely one of the kids was playing with fire. Who was to blame ? God only knows. It was a tragedy.  It probably could have been prevented by setting a rule that children were to stay away from the fire when no parents were around and spanking children that played with fire. Maybe a simple rule of no kids handling fire period, and a spanking that really hurts administered for disobedience.

Another tragedy we hear of too frequently is kids who drown in dug outs, of on a lake, or in an irrigation canal or river. Once again, if we set clear rules and enforce them by spanking if necessary, then most of such tragedies can be prevented.

Falls result in many injuries and even deaths for little kids. Once again here is where making clear rules and following up by spanking for offenses, can prevent suffering and even death. Heard of a child who fell off the bedroom dresser breaking their main leg bone. A little two year old in a body cast is not pleasant. Spanking could have prevented tragedy. You can probably think of many more examples. Of course we will never be able to prevent all accidents. Kids are adventuresome, and there will be scrapes and bruises in spite of our best efforts. There will be broken bones, but bones do heal.  We can't lock kids in a protective cocoon. 

To just harp at parents about their responsibilities is not enough. Many parents already know what needs to be done. There are so many difficulties now. The cost of living for ordinary folks seems to keep going up and up. Real wages have fallen in the past decade  in relation to the cost of living. People are finding themselves working longer and longer hours, for too often less pay then 20 years ago.  In many, many families it is now almost essential for the Mother to go to work outside the home for wages. Many families could not survive financially on only the husbands wages at this time. It would  mean the loss of the house perhaps, or even not being able to afford a decent vehicle, or that holiday, or helping the kids with their education, or even cutbacks is some basics. With these greater economic demands there is less time for the children. This impacts on child discipline and education in families, because such parents can't spend enough time with their children.

Too many authorities in Canada in government and business don't seem to think workers should have families. Too many of them have little regard for their worker's family needs, which includes a fair wage. As well there is so little job security these days for ordinary working people. This makes planning for the future very, very difficult. Little wonder birth rates have fallen into the cellar. Then governments and a lot of business complain about the population not growing fast enough and a shortage of skilled labor. They can't seem to understand how their government and corporate policies are adversely affecting families and the birth rate. The governments stupid, backward solution is to open the door to a flood of immigration. With such incompetent leaders, who needs enemies. 

Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida fighters and the Taliban haven't attached or harmed Canada specifically. Yet Canada is at war with bin Laden and the Taliban. Maybe we should pull out of that senseless war and devout our time and resources to dealing with creating a better social climate in which to raise children. Then we could start freeing ourselves from these home grown monsters, who are terrorizing whole communities and neighborhoods.

News The Established Media Doesn't Want The People To Know

Various other subjects will be dealt with as well.   If you have information regarding incidents you regard as news worthy, which almost none of the media is reporting then please drop an e-mail, regular letter, or phone. Your privacy will be respected. 

Am eager to get a hold of some statistics regarding wages and working conditions in the factories of multinational corporations in poor third world countries. How much in our dollars are they making ? How much is the markup ? Where are these products primarily marketed ? Would appreciate any leads here.

Would like to get the real story on working conditions in many of the foreign controlled businesses in countries like Mexico, or China. There are so many products made in China that are sold here in Canada. What about the workers making these things ?  How is the pay ?  How are working conditions ?

Would appreciate any information regarding the extent of the concentration of power and decision making, especially in third world countries and Canada.

Also what about freedom in many countries ?  Would especially appreciate news regarding freedom from Canada. 

What about women's issues ? It is very difficult to get the straight goods on how women are treated in various lands.  We hear very little about the situation with African women for example.

There are a lot of good news stories that go unreported. Often these are huge matters, but the mainstream media ignores them. For example we rarely hear about how many Jews and Palestinians work together and get along great. We just hear about bombings.
